Emi's P.O.V

        Today was the first day of the new school year at cross academy.  Now that the sun was beginning to set, it was our turn to go to class.  I slipped into my Night Class uniform and headed off towards Kanames room.  I knocked gently and heard him answer.  "Come in Emi"  I smiled and gently opened the door.  "  How do you always know its me, Kaname?"  He chuckled lightly.  "Your sent is unique.  Like no other, dear Emi"  He placed a hand on my cheek.  I turned around so he wouldn't see em blush.  "Likewise. Shall we go?"  i asked.  He nodded and walked passed me out the room to meet the others at the gates.  "Hello Emi.  Hello Lord Kaname" Shiki and Rima greet us in unison (no body calls me lady emi because i asked not to be called that i want to be treated equal as a friend).  "Hello"  we replied.  "Hey Emi!  Hello Kaname." Ichijou greeted us.  I gave him a hug and said hey.  He was like my brother.  My second best friend.  Just then the gates began to open and we pulled away.  "Lets go."  Kaname said.  Kain, Aidou, Rima, Ruka, Seiren, Shiki and Ichijou whent ahead first.  The cheering began.  "  They get louder every year, dont they?"  Kaname chuckled.  "I suppose Emi."  We then continued out the gates where everyone was waiting.  Aidou being the playboy he is was shooting his "Guns" making day class girls fall face first with hearts in their eyes.  "Please! Dont yell to loud .  Maintain your distance!"  I heard an all too familiar voice.  Yuki.  Instantly, almost on command, Kaname left my side, to help Yuki who had been stomped over by the crazed fans.   "Yuki, are you alright?"  Kaname asked holding out a hand.  "Im fine Kaname-sama"  she stuttered.  "Thank you for all your work."  he smiled at her.  The fan girls gave her death glares and she hasitated.  "Back to the disciplinary committee!"  she covered up.  "When you act reserved like this...i feel...a bit lonely."  he admitted standing up.  My heart ached and i tried not to show it.  " I-Im sorry.  But i guess its because you saved my life that day kaname-sama.  Your the one that saved my life that day, Kaname-sama."  he walked closer to her an placed a hand on her forehead.  "Dont worry about that anymore.  It was so long ago-"  he was cut off as someone pulled his hand away from yuki's head.  The one who did that was a boy with silver hair and lavender eyes.  Zero.  "Zero!" Yuki warned.  He ignored her and turned to Kaname.  "Your class has begun Kaname.  You should go now."  They looked seriously at each other but the anger and hatred was obvious.  "Your so scary.  Mr. Disciplinary Committee".  Kaname shot back. "Hello Yuki, zero."  I but in making their heads shoot towards me.  "Hi Emi- uh Lady emi" Yuki replied unsure how to address me.  Knowing Kaname would be displeased if i treated her rudely, and i had nothing against her, i suggested, "Please Yuki, call me Emi or Emi-sama"  I smiled.  She did the same and nodded.  "Zero."  He looked at me with a straight face.  "Kaname and I were just leaving for class.  We just wanted to say hello.  Good bye now."  I said.  He remained a bit shocked that i didnt offer a fight giving him an excuse to act, and kept staring at me.  "  See you soon yuki!"  I said giving her a hug which she returned.  "Bye Emi-sama!"  I smiled and returned to Kanames side.  "Kaname."  He nodded and we began to walk away.  I returned to Rimas side as some fan girls offered Kaname a love letter and a rose.  "Thank you." he smiled.  Rima had a concerned look.  She knew how i felt about Kaname.  I smiled trying to reassure her.  I turned to look at Yuki who had a hand over her heart at the sight of Kaname and the fan girls.  So she fells my pain.  At least part of it.  We walked away as zero yelled "YOU ALL NEED TO GET BACK TO YOUR DORMS RIGHT AWAY!"  He yelled at the fan girls with a closed fist.  I watched as kaname handed Seiren the now dead rose.    *Time Skip*  Back in class I sat in the desk next to Kanames cushioned chair as ichijou stood next to him and the teacher whent on and on about the blood tablets.  I've never drank from Kaname or he from me.  I've never really drank from anyone.  The thought about dinking form the most important person to you made me look at kaname.  Like that will every happen.  My love for him is impossible.  "DAMMIT I HATE THAT ZERO GUY!"  Aidou shouted as he skirbbled in his journal.  Ruka stepped in front of him and lifted the journal up.  "Whats this?  Looks like someone in love"  "Yeah right!  I would destroy that disciplinary committee first chance i got."  All was silent.  "Yes but they do have that girl.  And she...looks quite yummy."  Shiki broke the silence causing Kaname to stop in the middle of his page turning. "Shiki!" Ichijou warned "Time to feed"  Rima groned and she popped a round thing into shikis mouth.  Kaname slammed his book shut and stood up.  His frown was past noticable.  "Lord Kuran, i have noticed you have taken a great interest in that girl."  Ruka said to him.  There was a paused and i looked intently at him to hear his reply.  "Yes your right."  He admitted like it was nothing.   My undead heart shattered and Ichijou, shiki's, and Rimas eyes were on me before turning back to Kaname.  "Ruka do you wish to die?!"  Aidou yelled at her for stabbing him with the tip of his notebook.  She loved Kaname as well and this was upsetting her.  "The clouds will soon obscure the moon."  Kaname added.  "Yes it will be our time "  ichijou agreed.  "The night was made for vampires..."  Kaname continued., changing the subject.  His eyes glowed red and so did everyone elses.  I whent along and my eyes did the same.  I didnt have the courage to look up at Kaname,  afraid the pain would be too much and i would break down into tears.  Rima was at my side now and she placed a hand  on my shoulder.  What he said hurt.  It hurt like hell.
