The Start Of A War

Not everyone gets along in this world, with differences being the main sources of it all but some do get along but, there will always be people that can't accept differences or change. People are different in many ways, some people don't like differences because they're afraid of what will happen or they are afraid of their ideologies being overwritten or overthrown. As for Me, well I am one of those people that are different, being opened mind and accept anyone for who and what they are, I mean I look at myself and I'm happy that there are people that accept me as a dangerous, well I wouldn't have a pack now if they didn't, a pack where we all stick together to hide our differences from those how wish to destroy us, I'm Jay cliff. There are others out there like my pack anyhow, there are whole villages were everyone knows everyone's differences and help in any way possible, from hunting for food to feed everyone, growing food and making things to make others lives easier, a small hardworking village, with a big secret. We would have the normal people pass through, and we all treated them the same way they treated us, some nice some asses and some will never be found, it happens. There are many that live in the normal world, big city suburbs and streets, I knew a few most racoons, and normal hybrids unlike me and most people out in the middle of nowhere. The day was normal until I saw, Rose a snow fox running toward the village with blood all over her, everyone ran up to her. "JAY" I hear someone in the crowd yell, I walked through as saw her, with a bullet wound on her left shoulder and multiple cuts and brushes. "What happened rose?", I looked across to rich "Where's Doctor Fallisch?" I asked him frantically, he got shot up and bolt towards for his pharmacy. Then I smelt it and I could tell everyone else did too as the wind changed. blood, gunpowder, fuel and exhaust fumes, the sound of footstep running towards us with the sound of trucks and other heavy machines coming towards the village, I stood up and told everyone "RUN" everyone, looked at me as I jogged past them, some ran into builds other morphed and hightailed it to the other end of the village while others packed everything and ran. "Doctor Fallisch, Here take her, Run quickly now, Rich help the Doctor grab medical supplies from his pharmacy" I said urgently "they will be here at any point" I said as I saw a band for people marching down the street most were soldier, some were random people with guns and knives. The Doctor ran and so did I and many others. As I ran I heard gunshots ring out and round flying past my head, then I heard a vehicle driving up, as I saw blood spray onto the dirty snow and I fell to the ground and laid there as I saw others run, being tacked, some shot when the morph and others get tranq, I looked up to see a buttstock. I awoke in a cage I looked at myself and saw that I had been shot in the leg. I sit there as I gather myself realizing were I was. As I looked around I saw captured people being forced blood test upon them, others in cages and dead bodies. I realized I saw in a semi-military camp soldier walking around, others dragging people around. As I sat there I was trying to think what was going on, I saw someone get dragged out of a tent and then put up against the wall that was stained in blood then seven soldiers stood up from a table that has beer, whiskey and playing cards, each grabbed a gun, "AIM" a loud voice erupted from the group of men as they all laid their sights on this person. Then I had someone laugh, the lady had blood and brushes all over her face with a broken smile from ear to ear, some of the men seemed to unnerve "she just a crazy pathic dog aren't you!" One yelled as they all start laughing. "AIM" one shouted as she started to laugh, "Hold on one sec," a guy said as he seemed to mess with his gun, I looked at the lady and she was staring straight at me. The other men started to help the other with his gun as I saw the lady whispering under her breath, I could somewhat understand what she was saying "dimittis populum, theologos vocationem ore exíbit gládius acútus" as she was looking around but I couldn't tell what she was looking at. Then I heard a gunshot and screaming from behind as I saw people running out of broken cages and some morphed and fight, while children ran. They protected the children as they ran with other people alongside them, I started shaking the cage hoping it would break. soldiers ran past shooting as I saw lightning bolts arc off the cage I was in. I look towards the lady at the wall as I saw the soldier running to assist the others. She was sitting there, exhausted and I remembered how that felt as memories race through my mind. She looked at me again and I heard her say "You must learn again" as if it was in my head, I kept telling myself, what does she mean, as I sat there. She got up and started walking as she loudly chanted "ouvert aux portes du paradis." I sit there kicking the cage. I give up and try heating the lock, but I know it won't work because it's been a long time seen I have last done it. Then someone runs over and start helping me melt the lock but by the time the lock was melted, it was to late soldier regained a foothold while everyone ran. I started sprinting with the lady and pushed her ahead of me as I did, I have tackled but a soldier from the side and then another rifle stock to the head again.I wake up to see  two soldiers  dragged me out of a cage, they also dragged other people out of cages, everyone was drugged and or looked too weak to fight anymore and I could smell the scent of each one and tell what they are some more than others and from what it seemed some have been in the cages long before this point. We all stood in a line shoulder to shoulder, they separated us into groups of two, handcuffed us and went into the icy cold, snow-covered forest along with two soldier in snow white camouflage. I knew they were going to kill me and the young lady with white hair and a gold and white dress, she was covered in dirt and guessing from the dress and the state she was treated, she must have been high in the rich ranks for humans but that must have gotten kicked out from underneath her without warning. I started thinking of a plan, "somehow I have to break the handcuffs and then do something before I get a bullet in the head", I thought to myself knowing I didn't want to use my abilities right now especially with how unstable they could be from not using and continuously training them. "On your knees you stupidly disgusting hybrids," the soldier said as the other pushed us down to our knees. "Any last request" one of the soldiers laughed "yes" the young lady answer "....and what would that be you, disgusting low life?" the other soldier answer back "Can you take my handcuffs off, they're cutting into my wrists " The soldiers looked at each other and laughed " oh the rich filth wants the cuffs off because they are hurting her, fine then you still so perthitic, you worm, take them off." One of the soldiers kneeled down and took off the lady's handcuffs. I waited until one of her hands were free and then jumped up and shoulder tackled the soldier in front of me. The other soldier stood back up and ripped me off and they both pinned me to the snowy ground "You fucking perthitic dog" the soldier yelled as he pulled out his gun. I saw the lady get up and slowly walked up behind one of the soldiers as he put the gun to my head and bite his neck and push the other one off with my legs and he landed face first in the snow I jumped and wiggled onto his head before he could get up and suffocated him in the snow, she got up a ran away. The guy she bites was coughing up blood and the bite mark was turning black."h..help....p....me....please" he asked as he slowly died. "She must have been a snake" I mumble to myself. I saw the keys on guys belt. I shuffled over towards the guy and grabbed the keys. I uncuffed myself and stood up. I looked around, I heard gunshots and I ran off deeper into the forest, after running for an hour into the forest, I pick up an old scent, familiar it smelt but I couldn't be sure but after everything that had happened, I was wondering if anyone was alive. I followed the old scent to a cave, I decided to start a fire with a ball of fire, this being the first time in about two to four year I was unsure but I need to start somewhere. I focused on generating heat in my palm before thinking about starting a flame. After a bit I saw a small flame ignite so thing I focused on the flame and boom, a large flame blast out from my palm and brunt the roof of the cave, I slowly started again and this time I wanted to make a small ball just to hover and keep everything warm, I am a small ball and let it go and it died out because of the cold air in the cave, so I started heating the air with the fireball in the centre and it worked so I just had to remember to keep it heated while thinking of a way to close off the cave entrance. I saw the snow and thought that the easiest thing to use would be Ice, at first I managed to build up the snow and compressed it down and from it into ice by dropping the temperature around the compressed snow, and it worked but I looked behind me and saw that the fireball died out again, so I build up the compressed snow to cover the entrance and made the fireball again, next was keeping the temperature into areas close by different, at first it seemed to be failing because the wall wasn't freezing but it slowly did and the fireball out get bigger and smaller until I found a balance in between them both and the wall froze solid and the fireball staid lit, I was happy I started to learn to control my abilities once again, but I rememebered about my wolf side and remembered that I stop running around at night because it became too dangerous in place so I would have to go camping in remote loctions just to steach out my wolf, the part of me that felt amzing to be, the freedom and the wind in my fur as I ran across the land across the water, I remember how much I used my ablities out there and I didnt realize I miss it so much
