Chapter 12: the workers

Everyone in the fair hired Scar and Char for the fair because of their skills.
Scar and Char went to the staff office in the fair to meet the workers who worked there. They were the same staff members that worked in the training tent.
"Hello there." Chuck said with a bright smile. "I wonder why you didn't came to the talent show last night?"
"Well we were -"
"did you get sick again?" Anna interrupted Scarlet.
"No but -"
"Did you fainted?" Freddy asked with his head tilted.
"Not that but -"
"We're you tired?" Chuck asked with his eyebrow raised.
"Finally yes!"
Then all the staff members including Mary, looked at each other like they have no idea, and turned their heads backed to Scar and Char.
"Well then." Mary said. "It looks like it already past bedtime last night."
"Duh!!" Charlotte answered. "Because it was eleven last night!"
The two (which is Scar and Char) went in the dressing room with there bags. They changed their fancy gown to their doll looking dresses.
"Umm. This looks weird on me." Scarlet made a discussed face. Her new pink dress made her look like Mary had a little lamb.
Charlotte was also discussed about her dress. Her blue dress made her look like Cinderella.
But since Scar and Char hated fairytales so much, their dresses made them itch a lot like a person that had a mosquito bite.
" I don't like this dress!!"Charlotte said with her guilty blush. "It made me look like Cinderella!!"
"And it made me look like Mary had a little lamb!!!" Scarlet added.
Then they can't deal with the dress and brought their stuff in the training tent.
They saw all the tightropes, animals, and other things in the tent.
"Can I try the tightrope?" Scar and Char both picked.
"Sure, but you need a stick to balance yourself." Anna said.
Scar and Char both got sticks and went on the tightrope.
Scarlet tiptoed while Charlotte sped walked to the end. Scarlet then didn't worried about herself, and then started doing tricks on the tightrope.
"I think you're doing alright!" Mary yelled across the tightrope.
Charlotte almost tipped over, but still stuck on the rope.
When Scar and Char finally reached the end of the tightrope, they went back to their formal dresses, packed their stuff, and went back to the sturdy tent where they fell asleep.
