My Best friend's boyfriend

Prologue

Crystal's POV

I was sitting with Calum, chatting about some crazy things our class has done and from time to time busting out dirty jokes.

"So, you coming to Allison's quinceañera?" he asked and I rolled my eyes, giving him a sly grin. "Fine... You going to Allison's quinceañera?" he said smiling.

I laugh and nod "She's my best friend and I'm her... wing... man" I said and internally scowled at my choice of words.

He laughs "I think your bitch face is showing..."

Out of nowhere, I hear Allison scream "THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED, BITCHES!!" she sits between me and Calum while Leilani sits next to me, holding her sketchbook. I laugh as Calum rolls his eyes. We've all been friends since we were little.

One of the things that semi-bothered me was that everyone in our class always thought that me and Calum would make a great couple... He's a surfer and I'm a gamer with almost 1,000 subs on YouTube. It's an opposites attract, plus we are just friends... I mean... Well, it's complicated.

"Hellooo? Earth to Crystal!" I heard Allison say.

"Huh?" I look at Allison then at Calum who's chuckling.

"She was spaced out" Leilani mentions and I blush. I hate it when I do that...

"OOOH! Were you thinking about your future with Calum?" She teases and I roll my eyes. Did I mention that she was one of those people that think we'd end up together?

"It will never happen." I say shaking my head.

"Hey Calum!" I heard a perky voice call out and look at the person.

"Hey... uh... Joan?" Calm says, his face contorted in confusion.

Allison quickly jumps up and hugs her "Jade!"

I roll my eyes and lay my head on Leilani's sketchbook, putting my feet on Calum's lap. "How are you this loud with that hangover of yours, Ally?"

She turns to me and raises an eyebrow "How'd you know 'bout my hangover?"

I twist my head in her direction and smirk "Spidey Senses" I say, pointing out my spider-man shirt.

"Ooorrr the fact that you were groaning in pain and wearing sunglasses this morning..." Lei butts in I and glare at her grinning face.

"Hey Calum!" Jade repeats, roughly pushing my feet to the floor and sitting on his lap. I, in the meantime, shriek as I almost fall.

"Crystal, you o--?!" Calum starts but is soon interrupted.

"So want to go out sometime?" We all look at her. Well, she's straight forward...

What I didn't know is that this is how everything began...
