The stories of the popular boy falling for the unpopular girl are common. You see it all the time, in books but never in real life. Beyoncé Knowles was the victim for years, she had encountered so much hatred and violence, she was quiet and alone but things change when you meet someone who's as kind as Shawn Carter. Shawn Carter's life wasn't like a lot of other kids at his school, he wasn't rich and he didn't have both parents at home. For many that's not unusual, but for his girlfriend it was. Read Part 1 to find out about the love story of our two characters because once that's done the drama begins. There is no such thing as perfect love, it would have been easy to leave the book with the two of them falling in love- very easy for Part 1 to be the whole book but that's not true. There's always more, why give you a beginning alone when you also need the middle and the end.
