I hope that you like it. This is why I haven't been updating Mr. Billionaire Boss and Checkmate, I'm Stuck With You. So sorry about that, but I got this idea, and I like this song Bound To You by Christina Aguilera(and yes, that is the song title). And when it's a short story, I mean like three maybe for chapters..... I got bored and came up with something. So I hope that you like it.

I walk to the choir room, ready to practice for the talent show this weekend. I'm nervous that I will mess up majorly. I love to sing and play the piano but not in front of people. Having stage fright sucks. Last time I performed, I froze up and ran off stage. That was embarrassing, but thankfully that no one remembers but me and that I lived somewhere else when it happened.
I am turning around the corner to get to one of my favorite places in the world. I go here after school on most days. Not caring that I have homework, but I can do that when I get home. Walking into the room, I see that Mrs. Hoffmeister is in her office just about to leave.
"Hey, Mrs. Hoff," I said, poking my head into her room.
"I'm good. How are you?" I asked.
"Fine. I-" Mrs. Hoff was cut off by her phone ringing. "Excuse me," she said, picking up.
I walked out of her office and into the central part of the room. It had a grand piano right in the middle of the room and some big mirrors in the back of the room(this room was a dance room; that's why they have the mirrors). In front of the room, there was a cubby holder that held the binders.
I walked over to the piano and sat down on the bench. I started to warm up when Mrs. Hoff comes out.
"I'm sorry, Ail, but something went wrong with one of the lights. I have to go and see what's the problem is. Hopefully, it will be an easy fix. You can stay here if you want, I'll be back later if you want to practice then." She said with a look that with a combination of sadness and annoyance.
"It's fine," I said, "I'll just stay here if you don't mind."
"Of course, you can be. By the way, why aren't you in girls choir?"
"Oh um-"
Her phone went off.
'Saved by the Bell,' I thought.
"Okay, I understand, Mark. Yes, I know I'm coming now," she said, looking t me, sending an apology look.
I gave her a thumb's up, and she walked out of the door, talking to Mark.

Like I said, I got bored.
