The Model and Her Personal Assistant by Jade Roldan

Chapter Ten | First Date

I'm getting ready for our first date. Well, my first date ever. I've never been into girls, as in ever. I don't really like interacting with girls who aren't family related or Krisean. I actually feel so nervous, for once in my life. The feeling that others say when they're having their first date, I'm feeling it now!

But I'm still keeping my angry act up. I'm not going to lose. Should I go for the formal or informal? Ugh! I sound like an irritating girl.

With nothing else to choose from, I settled with black jeans and v-collared gray shirt. Covered with a black leather jacket, and I topped it up with a pair of dark blue vans.

I lose the glasses and settled with the free contacts I got from the editor. Gotta look good to have a great first impression.

Satisfied with my look, I got out of my room and waited for Krisean to come out from hers - but she didn't. So I called out her name.

She did go out, and I've never been this disappointed to see her like this.

°°°°°

I didn't want to go out since this was my day-off, and I wanted to lay here all day. In my room, on my bed, in my PJs. And eat ice cream while watching TV. But I don't have a choice, do I?

I don't care if the date is in a resto or a walk in the park, I'll wear what I wanna wear. I'm gonna be the bitchiest bitch in this town today. I know he's outside his room, I'm purposely making him wait while I'm laying pretty here on my bed. I only got out when he called my name in a dying matter.

When he saw me, disappointment was written all over his face.

"Why'd you decide to dress-up like that now, Sean?" He said, frustration coming to the scene.

"Don't call me that, I hate you. And I don't care what you think about what I wear." I stated, fixing the tiny dress I wore.

"Can't you atleast put on some pants?" He asked me, almost sounding like he's begging for me to do it.

Beg more, and I'll think I'll reconsider what I'm wearing. Since, I'm not that comfortable too.

"Do I have to repeat what I just said?" I sternly asked back.

I saw him shook his head before holding my hand, leading the way in silence.

°°°°°

We walked on the sidewalk for a few minutes before we got to the city and I noticed people looking at us, this is a bad image.

"Don't slouch." I whispered to him, smiling.

"What?" He asked before obeying.

"Smile at me, stupid. If you want to make this work, act like you want it to work." I instructed him more.

He suddenly let's go of my hand.

"I thought you wanted this to be... Your instant fame." I said, more calmer on the end as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"You were saying?" He asked, his eyebrows going up and down - playing on his face.

I gave out a light laugh, kissing his cheek. He looked shocked, then his cheeks turned red. Wow, now that's what you call great acting.

"Now, where do you want to eat?" He suddenly asks me.

"I want to eat ice cream!" I shrieked excitedly, still keeping my composure though.
