The next morning, I drove to my former apartment to get my stuff. I found the perfect apartment that same morning and I plan to move in ASAP, because I didn't want to annoy Elise and Louis. I drove up onto the driveway and I took a deep breath.
I knocked on the door. No answer. I twisted the knob and the door creaked open. Beer bottles. Everywhere. Oh, man. I tip-toed upstairs and peeked into my old bedroom.
Harry was sprawled across the bed, with his body covered head-to-toe with a blanket. I couldn't help but stare in awe.
Great, now I sound like a desperate little bitch, but it's okay to think someone is physically attractive but hate them with all your guts, right? I silently packed as he snoozed on. But, of course, if all times, he just HAD to wake up when I was about to leave.
"Austyn, you're back!" Harry said in a really sore and cracked voice. He's been crying. He attempted to get up as fast as he could, but it took like 2 minutes and once he got up, he looked like he was going to puke.
"I'm leaving," I called as I headed downstairs. He trailed after me and opened the door for me. I headed out the door and took one last look of my old home. Harry stood at the doorway, waving goodbye, but some pretty chick stood to him, nearly-half-naked.
No.
Oh no.
He gave me an extremely apologetic look but she,
She gazed right into my soul, and right through me.
I was just beginning to deal with the devil.
