The return part 6

A knock on the door was heard, The two pull away from each other reluctantly and faced the door.

" Who is it?'' Wally asked, clearly annoyed that the moment with his girlfriend got interrupted.

" Kid Flash?" Robin asked confusion and annoyance mixing into one. " That's were you been all day?" The clicking of the door was heard and Robin stepped into their room. The Wall was the first thing that caught his eye.

" What happened there?" He pointed.

Jinx looked behind her. " Oh that? I came here ,then Wally scared the cap out of me" she pointed her thumb at the ever innocent looking Wally." then I may have... blew a hole in the wall, possibly?"

Robin sighed. " Ill deal with that later, but for now we need you two out in the main hall."

" what for?" jinx posed.

" Cybrog will explain why, but we need to act fast."

Jinx and Wally gave each other weary looks, then followed Robin down the main hall.

Everyone was already waiting for the three to return. Starfire complemented on how much better Wally looked, Wally just nodded. Raven rolled her eyes and focused on what Cybrog had on the big screen. When Wally and Beast Boy locked eyes they both shared a smirk, their little secret.

Robin sat down next to Starfire. Jinx and Wally sat down next to each other and shyly held hands, not wanting the others to see it.

Cybrog looked over his audience, and started to talk.

" I've called you all here today to announce." He took a deep breath, then his calm controlled self went haywire. " BECAUSE DR. LIGHT AND MAD MOD HAVE BROKEN INTO ANOTHER RESEARCH CENTER AND STOLE MORE GOVERNMENT PROPERTY!"

Robin stood up. " That's it ! tonight we attack, this time no screw ups. I want these men in prison, under lock and key. I don't care what it takes. Split up and find them, then contact the rest of us if you run into them, Understood?"

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

" Understood Beast Boy?" Robin inquired.

Beast Boy put his hands up in defense. " Dude, I understand No Mess Ups."

Robin looked satisfied. " Good, Titans Go!"

Everyone rushed to the door.

" Kid Flash." Robin called. Jinx and Wally both turned around and faced him. " You stay here, Jinx will go."

Wally felt his anger boiling up inside him. " No can do Robin, if she goes I go."

" Your hurt and still healing, sit here and protect the tower in case they lead us on a goose case and plan to attack here."

" But what if Jinx gets in trouble?"

Jinx put a hand on his shoulder, he turned to face her.

" ill be fine, just sit down and put on the news or something, you will be the first one called if anything goes wrong." Jinx promised.

" But-" He began.

" No buts , alright. I can take care of myself, I have for years we only care about your well being." Jinx cooed.

Wally seemed to be thinking it over, knowing he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He finally made up his mind.

" Alright!" he exasperated. " One thing goes wrong and I'm rushing to help." He sat down on the couch, irritated, and turned on the TV.

Jinx and Robin smiled.

" wouldn't have it any other way." Robin smirked.

Jinx walked over and kissed Wally on the cheek. " Ill be back before you know it." She whispered in his ear. Wally still stared at the TV screen . Jinx nodded to Robin, and they followed their other team mates for the search, It was going to be a long night.
