My Sacrifice

Mehndi

Irum's POV
"Beta..beta uth jao"i heard mama shouting, trying to wake me up
"jeee mama uth'ti hun"i said in sleepy voice
"beta jaldo utho 1 baj gaya hai or aaj Mehndi hai"mama said and feel my eyes getting wet

I get up but there's drip on my hand so i harsly pull it up. I take a quick shower; wore a simple dress and then Rihanna came.

"Aslamalikum!kesi hai tu?"she asked curiously
"Walikumaslam theek hun"i said
"lag to nhi rhi"she said looking me from bottom to top
"kaha na theek hun"i said in stern voice and she frown
"acha to yeh drip kesi?"she said pointing towards the drip
"wo to raat ko lagi thi..ab utar gai"i said looking down
"huh!!mjhe pata hai...kab lagi thi kab nhi" she said rolling her eyes
"acha chor beth"she said and we sat on sofa

"aaj teri mehndi hai"sje said and i simply nodded
"to tu khush hai?"she asked as she doesn't know anything, so i gave her a look
"acha ab Shehry ko bhul jaa ab wo teri zindagi mein nhi hai...Hussain hai..dekh aaj inn hatho pr Hussain ka naam likha jaega" she said holding my hands
"to mein inn hatho ko hi kat dungi"i said and she gasp
"dekh..pagalon jesi bokwas mat kr"she said;  gesturing with her hand
"aree 3 baj gae hain or 6 baje mehndi start ho jani hai"she said and i roll my eyes
"acha bata....Shehry ayega?"she said narrowing her eyes
"pata nhi"was all i said
"acha chal ab uth mein tjhe tyaar karun" she said and she started readying me

"Leh!! 5 baj gae..or abhi dress pehna baqi hai"she said
"to dress pehne mein kitni der lagti hai"i said rolling my eyes and she bite her tongue, dramatically
"acha chal dress pehn le"she said and i headed towards washroom

I wore the dress; saw myself on mirror and tear escaped from my eye

yeh kia???...aaj meri mehndi hai..or abhi mehndi wali ne ajana hai or phr...wo Hussain ka naam likhe gi mere haath pr... ahhh...

I was thinking and crying when i heard Rihanna's voice.

"Irum..ajao mehndi wali agai hai"she saod and i quickly wipe away my tears
"ai"i said and came out from washroom

And mehndi wali started applying mehndi

Shehry tum kaha ho??...dekho mjhe mehndi lag rhi hai or abhi tmhari jaga Hussain ka naam likh degi yeh aurat :'( :'(

Rihanna's POV
Kia hoga Irum ka..jab yeh itna pyaar krti hai Shehry se to kese rahegi uske bina...agr Hussain ko pata chal gya to..to shayad yeh to Irum ko chod dega..nhi nhi esa kbhi nhi hoga...Hussain k saath rahegi to khudi adjust hojega or phr shayad Shehry ko bhul jae...mgr kese??jab wo Irum k samne 24 ghante hoga...Ya Allah madad!!!

"dulha ka naam kia hai?"that mehndi wali asked and break me from the chain of my thoughts
"Shehry"Irum said suddenly and i look ger frowning but, 'it seems like she's not in her senses
"nhi nhi aunty Hussain"i said and aunty nodded and she applied Hussain's name

Then Asif Family came. And now it's time to be on stage. So, i let Irum walk to the stage and sat her up on that swing beside Hussain. And then ceremony began.

Irum's POV
Shehry nhi aya?..

All the time i was searching for Shehry but he's nowhere to be seen. That much; i didn't see Hussain properly

Shehry's POV
"Mom....wo mein aaj mehndi mein nhi jaa skta"i said to mom and she shocked
"beta!tum engagement mein bhi nhi aye the"mom said
"haan mom mjhe bohat zaroori kaam tha or abhi bhi hai"i said to mom and walked away to my room; 'she kept calling me but i didn't listen, went to my room, close the door and cry my heart out
