Fall away- øne

Not too sure but I think some parts of this chapter might be a bit hard for some to read so just putting a trigger warning out now.

"Wake up now leighanne!" My best friend, Gerard yelled. He pulled the white sheets off of my body as I groaned in despair "you're back at work and I've made you maple bacon pancakes" he smirked lightly and opened the cream blinds. I stretched my arms wide and followed him into the kitchen. Entering the room, I could see a stack of golden pancakes and a steaming cup of black liquid. I shuffled my feet across the tiles to the table

"You know not to call me leighanne, I prefer lee babe" I returned my comment as I sat down infront of my stack of heaven. I ran my hands through my dirty hair and ate a mouthful of syrup and sweetness. Bursts of flavour opened up in my mouth, but also the urge to throw up.

"I know I know. I just love annoying you. Honestly brighten up. If I was you I would be excited for today. You're finally dyeing your hair!" My eyes widened as Gerard (gee,my best friend) squealed and clapped his hands together. I told everyone in the salon I work at and all of my other friends that after the summer break I would dye my hair a vibrant colour. I got nervous butterflies in the pit of my stomach while thinking about it. "Oh my god I'm so bringing Frank he loves this kind of stuff. He will probably know which colour would suit you best".i giggled lightly at the excitement obvious to his voice. His eyelashes batted lightly off of his pale cheeks.

"You are actually so cute with Frank it hurts me. My gay ship is breathing" I grinned, sighing heavily. Gees once pale face had changed to a vibrant pink as he bit down on his lip, staring down at his feet. I pushed the leftover pancakes towards Gee and he looked at me with furrowed brows

"How come youve only eaten half a pancake? You love my pancakes" he pouted slightly as he scratched the back of his neck. My breathing hitched as I looked at his sad complexion

"Sorry I'm not that hungry. I'm trying to loose weight anyway after summer" I bit my lip while Gerard glared at me with his sparkling eyes.

"Please don't do this again to me. You scared the hell out of me last time. I can't have you stopping yourself from eating because you 'aren't good enough'" he air quoted his last sentence as he raised an eyebrow and took the plate to the bin. He pushed the food into the bin and huffed, making sure I heard him.

"I promise I won't Gee. I wouldn't leave you in such a painful place like I did last time. I regret it so much and it really was awful for me and you and frank but I just want to be a bit more cautious about what I eat okay?" He nodded. I smiled briefly and walked to him and engulfed him into a warm embrace. He plastered a small soft grin on his face as I left to get changed

After showering quickly I changed into a pair of black faded jeans and put my lacy bra on. I made my way over to the mirror to stare at the red scars scattered over my stomach. I moved my hand across them, and turned so my hip was facing the mirror, showing my tattoo of the twenty øne piløts logo placed at my lower hip.I gently traced over it and moved back so my stomach was facing the mirror. I put a positive smile across my face.

'Come on lee. You can do this. You're finally doing something you've wanted to do for years today. This can make you happy'

I threw my black tank top on so I could be ready for work. I pulled my black dr.martens on and left my hair to sit on my shoulders. A loud knock was placed on my door and it gently opened to Gee's bright and happy face.

"I was feeling nice so I made you a fruit smoothie with the blender. I have to go to Franks now but text me when you're getting your hair dyed later so we can be there" he asked and I nodded at him . I thanked him and hugged his tall figure tightly. He waved and closed the door shut.
