It is 5:40 in the morning when Bea decided to wake up. Nagising siya ng walang kahit anong alarm, nakagawian niya na kasi talagang magising ng gantong oras. She was staring blankly at the ceiling and counting the minutes as she wait.

Bea look at her clock and its already 5:58 she closed her eyes and wait. The clock strike 6:00 am.

"Good Morning Love! Its time to wake up! Don't be such a lazy ass beatriz, its a good day! I love you!" Bea bite her lip as she refrain herself from crying.

It was Maddie's voice, iyon ang sinet ni Bea as her alarm tone. It was Maddie's idea actually, hindi kasi basta basta nagigising si Bea, napaka tamad nito bumangon everyday. Kaya ang sabi niya, mas maganda kung boses ni Maddie ang gagamitin para mas mainspire siyang gumising sa bawat umaga. Who wouldn't love mornings if the first thing you'll hear is the voice of someone you love?

But its different this time, Bea doesn't wake up to Maddie's voice. Instead, she wakes up before her alarm so she could clearly hear Maddie's voice.

She reached for Maddie's picture in her beside table and hugged it. "I miss you so much, love." she cried.

"Do you have any plans today, Beatriz?" her mom ask as they were eating their breakfast.

"Wala naman po. But still the same I'll check the shop and go straight to the office."

"Anak..." Her mom reached for her hand and squeezed it. "Have some fun, why don't you try calling Kianna or Therese? Jhoanna? Go out and party. Puro ka na lang trabaho, try to unwind anak."

Bea smiled, "Ill try mom. Ill try." Her mom smiled.

After eating Bea went to the coffee shop she own. Medyo kilala itong shop ni Bea because of; first, the pastries and beverages it offers. Second, yung cozy ambiance na parang nasa bahay ka lang. And Third, because she's Isabel Beatriz De Leon.

"Good Morning Ma'am!" the employees greeted Bea as she enter the shop.

"Good Morning, where's Deanna?" Deanna was appointed by Bea to be the shop's manager. Hindi lang kasi itong Coffee shop ang pinagkakabalahan ni Bea, she works for their company as well.

"Nasa Kitchen po." Bea smiled and went straight to the kitchen. "Hey." Bea tapped Deanna's shoulder.

Deanna reach for the towel beside her, "Oh hi there Beatriz! How are you?"

"Still the same, I guess?" inakbayan ni Deanna si Bea.

"Come on Beatriz, enough with that. Later 10 pm we'll pick you up."

"Meron--"

"Beatriz Isabel. Tinanong ko si tita Det wala ka naman daw plans for today so later okay?" wala ng kawala si Bea, so she said yes.

"Okay fine." Bea sighed in defeat.

Loud music, people dancing, the typical scene when you enter a bar. "Andun daw sina Kianna." Deanna whispered. Bea just did an okay sign.

They reached the table and there's Kianna, Jhoanna, Therese, and Ponggay drinking and eating. "Finally! lumabas ka nadin sa lungga mo!" Jhoanna shouted.

"We missed you beaaaa!!" tumayo si Therese at niyakap si Bea. Bea smiled. Sumakay naman si Ponggay sa likod ni Bea. "At dahil dyan ikaw ang manlilibre tonightttt!!!" Ponggay Declared.

"No Buts De Leon! Let's partehhhhhhhh!" Kianna stood up and started dancing like a crazy woman.

Kagaya nga ng sinabi ni Kianna they did party all night. Bea's partying and somehow she became happy because of her friends. For a short period of time she did forgot the pain she's feeling.

"Answer me, where's maddie?" walang tumitingin sakanya. She roamed her eyes and held therese's hands. "tey, Maddie's okay right?" Therese kept her head down while tears are flowing down her cheeks. Hinigpitan ni Bea ang pagkakahawak sa kamay ni Therese.

"Bea..." bumitaw si therese sa pagkakahawak ni Bea. Lumapit naman ang mommy niya at inilayo si Therese kay Bea. "Bea, calm down. Rest first okay?" her mom said while showing a faint smile.

"W-where is she?" she asked, but no one dares to answer.

"Therese? Deanna? Pauline?" she called her friends pero wala, wala siyang nakuhang sagot. Tumingin siya sa mommy niya. "Mom please, I wanna see Maddie."

"Please..." Bea cried. "Im begging you."

"Anak..." Tumingin si Bea sa mommy niya, niyakap siya nito. "Maddie's... dead."

and right at that moment, Bea knew she lost her.
