What happens when a good girl meets a bad guy?

Chapter 14

The skidding of tires, the crunch of metal, the pop of a appearing air bag.

It all happened so fast.

I was driving home from a preschool orientation with Kale. A car decided I was a good target and t-boned me. Luckily the hit was on my side of the car and not kale's side of the car.

I heard Kale start to cry.

"Baby girl are you ok?" I swallow.

"Mommy!" Kale cried.

I couldn't get out of my door. I crawled out of the other side of the car. I pulled Kale out.

"I'm so sorry." The girl that hit me says.

"It's fine." I said sitting Kale in the grass.

She had a few bloody spots on her face.

The worst part about this whole thing is it's not my car he hit. It was Andy's car.

I just realized this.

"Fuck! Your dads gonna kill me."

"Can I do anything for you?" The girl asks.

"No. Why the hell did you hit me?"

"I don't know. I was rushing to get home and you were in my way." The girl says.

"Oh. Thanks." I say calling Andy.

"Hello." Andy says.

"Um I have some news."

"Are you pregnant?" Andy asks.

"No. Um I've had a wreck at the intersection by whole foods."

The line went dead.

"I call the cops." The girl said.

"Ok." I mumbled.

A few minutes later Andy arrived.

Andy embraced me in a hug.

"How did you get her so fast?"

"I'm at the studio today. It's just a block away." Andy replied before giving me a kiss.

"I'm so sorry."

"About what?" Andy asks.

"Your car. It's totaled."

"I don't care about the car. Are you ok?" Andy says.

"I'm fine." I breathed.

"Is Kale ok?"

"Yeah she's just a bit bloody."

Andy gave me another kiss before walking over to Kale.

"Hey baby girl." Andy said picking up Kale.

"Daddy." Kale cried.

"Your ok. No need to cry." Andy soothed as Kale wrapped her arms around Andy's neck.

"Oh my god you Andy Biersack!" The girl says.

"God damn it." Andy says.

"Please don't make a big deal out of it."

She couldn't contain herself.

"Don't be happy. You totaled my car." Andy says.

"Where is Bronx? I thought you had him."

"Uncle joe wanted to hang out with him today. I agreed for the sole reason that it was all vocals today." Andy says.

"Ok. Do you ever wonder why he always wants the kids?"
