"Who am I?"
"What am I? A human... Or a gem?"
That's the question I have been asking ever since I was created.
A failed experiment.
I am Dioptase, a genetically altered form of human DNA and elements. I was supposed to be the perfect warrior for White Diamond.
And I FAILED.
I was supposed to be a Diopside.
I'm NOT.
Because I was created with too much human DNA, I was used for research on humans because I am the only one on this Gem-Forsaken rock that can be sliced open without retreating to my gem.
It was never my fault.
Never my choice.
I don't WANT this.
But even the slightest change of that is still out of my reach.
