Love is Hard

Water streaking down my face,

All dirty wearing torn up lace,

I thought tonight was the night,

But in the end those mean girls were right,

I thought I had a good chance,

When you asked me for one last dance,

But then discovered the real you,

That left me alone standing blue,

I was torn and crushed,

Every second felt to rushed,

I feel so stupid,

A love unfixable even by cupid,

I was shattered to bits by their words,

Calling me ugly and a big fat nerd,

I finally had enough to prove them wrong,

But I guess all fairy-tales don't start off strong,

In the end I learned a valuable lesson,

That love is hard and filled with agression.
