"Ugh", I mumble, laying my heavy head down on the toilet seat. That's the third time this morning. I'm starting to get really worried. I've been getting sick a lot recently and I'm kind of bloated. I'll have to tell Dally to quit buying me so much chocolate... but it's so good! All I want is chocolate. I get off the ground and go over to the sink to brush my teeth for the millionth time this morning. 'I need to go to the store to get some pads', I thought. ---------------------------------- I'm in the isle to get pads and I cross a pregnancy test. Right then and there I realized it was July 21. 'I'm 2 weeks late... I'm never late. Could I be-? No I can't. We used protection... didn't we?' I shakily grab the pregnancy test from the shelf. I shake as I walk towards the self checkout so no one will see me, a 17 year old, buying a pregnancy test. ---------------------------------- I park in my driveway and just sit there staring at the pregnancy test sitting in the Kroger bag in the passenger seat. I take the bag and head inside. 'If anyone asks, I just got some candy.' Luckily I get to my room unnoticed. This is one of the times I'm thankful I have my own bathroom. I take the pregnancy test out of the box and read the directions. 'Pee on stick and wait 2 minutes'. I did my business and now I'm shaking, staring at the test, waiting the longest 2 minutes of my life to be over. 'What if I'm pregnant? What will I do? I can't take care of a kid, I'm still a kid myself. What will Dally think? Ohmygosh! Dal-' 'BEEP' Ok, this is it. This is my future right here. Two lines pregnant, one line not pregnant. 'Ok. One, two, three...' "Ohmygosh. It's positive."

I nervously tap my feet on the old hospital marble floor. 'What in the world is making me so sick? Oh...My...Gosh... What if I'm dying? What is I don't get to tell the boys I love th-' "Y/N", a nurse in blue scrubs says. I look up at her and nod my head. I slowly get up and follow her. "Dr. Martin will be with you in a second dear" "Thank you.", I reply. A few minutes later there's a knock on the door and who I'm assuming is Dr. Martin enters the room. "Hello Y/N, I'm Dr. Martin", he's says while shaking my hand and looking me in the eyes, " so what seems to be the problem?" "Well, I've been throwing up constantly lately and I'm always extremely tired when I've gotten a good sleep the night before." "Ok. I think I've got a good clue of what's wrong but we'll still need to take some tests to see if I am correct. I am going to need you to please urinate in this cup and bring it back to me." He hands me the cup and shows me where the bathroom is. I do my business and go back into the room and hand him the cup. "Thank you. In a few minutes there will be some nurses in here to take some blood for some blood tests. I will call you later tonight with the results." "O-ok", I reply. He leaves the room and shortly after 2 nurses come in to take my blood. ---------------------------------- It's been about 3 hours since my doctors appointment and I am currently at Soda's house. I haven't told Soda about my appointment because I don't see the point unless something is wrong. Soda and I are in the middle of a movie when my phone vibrates. I recognize the number is the doctors office. "I'll be right back baby. I have to go to the bathroom. Let me know what I miss." I get up and go into the bathroom. "Hello?", I ask. "Hello... is this Y/N L/N?" "Yes, this is she." "Alright Ms L/N. We have the results of your tests. Congratulations! You're pregnant!"
