okay, that's the end. i know it's a little confusing, so i'll describe what happened.

y/n's boyfriend had been abusing her, first starting out with being mean to her, then going on to actually and physically hurting her. so, she called mark, her best friend, and asked him to help her. he said he wouldn't, that he was in california and he couldn't magically hop states for her. she got upset with him when he said that, but as time went on, he started to think about her more and more – up until the point that he was begging for her to get out of his head. then, he started to realize what she meant to him, and he went after her. 

it's a simple, yet confusing story, and i'm sure a lot of people didn't quite understand what was happening.
