Angelica was an average High School student with big plans for college. She was very excited about going to college and making new friends. But Angelica never knew something that had happened when she was little. When she was 3 months old, her mother that gave birth to her, abandoned her and her father never loved Angelica. Angelica was adopted when she was 3 months old. The years went by and she never knew anything. When her adoptive father died when she was 13, she and her mother were very heartbroken. 3 years passed, and her adoptive mother decided to tell her the truth. She took Angelica to her room and they started talking a normal conversation. Angelica's mom said:"Angi, I have been hiding a secret for so long from you, and It is time I told you. You are actually not my real daughter, your father and me adopted you when you were 3 months old. Truth is, your real mother and father abandoned you, and they never called or written a letter. I'm sorry, but you had to find out the truth, and I thought today would be the time". Angelica, with tears in her eyes, without saying a word, ran into her room and locked the door and started crying. She was whispering softly:"Now you tell me, after 16 years of life, NOW YOU TELL ME??". She continued crying and crying, the tears didn't stop. Her mother was upset, so she called a Psychologist. She got an appointment for both Angelica and her. She explained that the Psychologist was going to help them in their emotional state. Angelica didn't say a word.
