The rain trickled down her hair as she felt the warmth of his lips on hers. If only he could stay a little bit longer. "Be careful," she whispered into his iron pierced ears. He then trudged down the street toward the train station quickly glancing behind him to get one last glimpse at Levy.
Mourning over him leaving, Levy quietly returned to her abode in Fairy Hills carrying nothing but the empty space in her heart. The door creaked open and she stepped into her small room, the walls were lined with books of all genres, shapes, and languages. Suddenly, something caught her eye. It was note nailed to the wall with iron. She hastily read over the words scribbled on the piece of paper. Her cheeks blushed as each word rushed into her mind. Levy knew instantly who it was from. If only he could say it to her in person.
Levy leaped out of bed the next morning knowing Gajeel will soon return from his journey. She rushed over to her closet to find the best apparel to wear. Soon Levy was ready to leave for the Guild Hall but she stopped in the doorway and quickly grabbed the note and stuffed it in her pocket.
Levy then entered the guild hall to see the usual. Tables being thrown and lots of fighting. She sat at a quiet table near the bar. "Hi Levy!" exclaimed Mirajane "Can I help you with anything?" Levy just silently shook her head and sat down opening one her books lined up at the table. "What are you reading now?" Said Mira trying to create small talk. Levy then shoved the book away from sight so no one would read the cover "What is Love." Mira then got the message and promptly scampered away. If only Levy could Just say I love you to Gajeel. It was never that easy for her. "That's it!" Levy thought to herself. "I have to I say I love you to Gajeel." Levy then got to work and started to figure out different ways to say I love you to Gajeel. She quickly scanned the room and spotted Lucy and scurries over to her. "Hey Lucy!" said Levy. "Hi Levy" said "How are you?" "Ummm good I guess. I need to ask you a question though." Levy blurted. "Levy you are my best friend you can ask me anything" Lucy exclaimed. "I noticed you and Natsu have a thing together. How would you say I love you to him." Levy asked. "WHAT?!" Lucy screamed "First, Natsu and I dont have a thing. Second, Just say it from the heart. Third, WHO DO YOU LIKE AND WHY DON'T I KNOW!" Lucy yelled. Levy then quickly cast the word invisible as she began to feel her cheeks burn. Solid script came in handy sometimes. As she turned invisible Lucy began feeling around for a Levy. Levy then bolted away to escape this embarrassing moment. "That was close," Levy sighed. Levy then took Lucy's advice and began to sift through her heart to look for a way to say I love you.
She looked and high and low but could not find a single trace of an idea. Should she put it in a cake or on a wall? These were all questions Levy asked herself until it hit her "I should just say I love you!" Thought Levy. It was so simple yet so heart felt. Levy stood in front of the door ready to practice her routine of saying I love you until the door opened and someone bumped into her. "Hey babe."
