The New Members of Sky Media

When Our Lives Changed

(Salem's POV)
I was just relaxing in bed texting my best friend, Kylee, and watching Sky Media. I was laughing as Ross made Max mad. "Mad Max as usual." I chuckled. I saw they had uploaded a new video and watched it. It was a contest for 2 YouTubers to get to work in the office with them. I squealed excitedly. "Eliza! Get in here!!" I yelled for my cousin, who was like a sister to me. She came running in, a worried look on her face. "What? What is it?" She asked.
"Look!" I said pointing to the screen. She walked over and saw the video. "We have to enter!!" I yelled excitedly. "Please!!!" I begged her.
She smiled at me. "Of course were going to enter! We're their biggest fans!!" Eliza said with a laugh.
I smiled widely at her. "Get your phone and comment!" I told her and began to comment on their video. Here's what I wrote:
Hey you guys, you are the greatest people that I could ever look up to. I come to your videos whenever I feel down and you guys always know how to make a girl smile and I'm thankful for that. You guys really know how to put a smile on someone's face. I love you all and I thank you all for helping me through the times of my life.
I finished the comment and posted it. I smiled as I re-read it. "I think it's good." I said smiling.
Eliza sat down next to me, looking over my shoulder reading what I wrote. "Do you think we'll win?" She asked me. I shrugged.
"I don't know, it's better not to get my hopes up." I told her with a sigh. "I hope we do though." I said to her. She nodded in agreement with me. "Well, I'm off to bed. Night Eliza." I said as I got up and grabbed my pajamas. Eliza got up and left my room. I got into my pajamas and jumped into bed. My drowsiness had taken over and I fell asleep in a matter of minutes.
{Time skip to when the winners were announced cuz I'm bored 😹}
I saw that OfficeAntics had uploaded a video called Winners Announcement!!! I clicked on it, excitement running through my body, knowing that we could win. "Eliza! Hurry! They uploaded the video!" I called to her and she ran into my room. We sat on my bed and watched the video.
"Hey guys! Sky here! And we are here to announce the winners of our contest! Alright! So, the winners are....drum roll please!" Ross, Barney, Red, and Max started banging on the table. "Minecatgames and UsGirlsCanGame! Congratulations you guys! Direct message me on your twitters and I'll give you the information!" Adam finished up the video and did his outro.
Instantly, me and Eliza proceeded to loose our shit. We were screaming and fangirling. "We won!!! I'm so happy!!!" I squealed. Eliza did the same thing. I took out my phone and messaged Adam. He messaged back his number and I sent him a text. He gave us all of the information to get to the offices. He had already bought our tickets and sent me the link to them. I looked at Eliza. "We're leaving tomorrow morning early." I told her. She nodded and looked at me, excitement was all I could see in her eyes. "We should upload a video!" I told her and she agreed.
We finished up making our videos and posted them on our channels. We were extremely excited to finally get to meet the group we had always wanted to meet.
That night, I tried to fall asleep, but I couldn't because of how excited I was. Soon enough I fell asleep, knowing that if I went to sleep the sooner the morning would come.
{Time skip to the morning}
My alarm went off and I opened my eyes tiredly and groaned. I hit my alarm and it shut off. I sat up and yawned tiredly, my eyes were heavier than usual. I looked at my alarm to see what time it was. 4:30?! I thought. Then I realized why I had gotten up so early. We had to catch a flight to Washington to start our new job at Sky Offices.
