She was running as fast as she could, gasping for air in pure fear and desperation. He was masked, dressed in a dark blue long sleeved shirt and black pants. He chased her with a huge knife in his hand, running not far behind her and quickly gaining speed. The feeling of dread and panic was numbing the pain in her legs and arms. Her lungs were on fire but she couldn't stop, she knew he'd kill her if she stopped.

She would have cried out but couldn't waste the breath when she caught sight of of a huge glass building. What she would do after she went in she didnt know, but hope started to blossom in her heart so she sped up faster than her body could take. She slammed into the building rushing up the staircase not taking a moment to check her surroundings. The stairwell was spiral and she took two steps at a time gasping for air.

Once she reached to the very top she pushed at the door hearing footsteps not far behind her. It took her a couple of body slams before the door budged and she quickly slid through pushing the door closed behind her. She turned looking everywhere at once her eyes spinning around until she felt dizzy. She tried to calm her breathing and find something to block the door but only found a couple of stray bricks laying around.

She was at the very top on the roof, with the center ceiling made out of glass. It was a beautiful building, had she been visiting on good terms she would be able to appreciate the beauty more. She ran grabbing at the bricks and heard the door shake. She set the bricks on top of each other but knew the effort would be futile in the end.

She kept her body on the door pushing it with all of her weight in an effort to keep it closed. But the man was too strong and the dread continued to grow. She keep looking around for a way to escape but only had the ground that was more than ten feet below her, other buildings too far to attempt jumping to. The tears were blurring her eyes and she could feel a panic attack coming on. She cried out as the door was pushed open, falling on the ground, and rushing to get up.

The man turned to her and she ran as fast as she could to the opposite side of the building, her adrenaline peaking up. He was too quick and quickly caught up grabbing on to her placing her in a headlock with his knife pointed to her chest.

"Please! Please don't do this to me! I didn't do anything, I swear, please." Her words were rushed in a screech and she doubted he understood her.

His grip loosened for just a second and she stepped hard on his foot until his grip loosened completely and threw herself forward. She fell on to the glass and tried to stand up only to slip when his hand gripped her ankle.

He dragged her forward and she tried to stop him with her hands but that only resulted in breaking her nail. He stopped at the edge of the cement with her body laying flat on the glass. He brought his knife up to her and she closed her eyes in fear. But instead of feeling pain in her body she felt a sense of weightlessness accompanied with gravity propelling her down surrounded by glass.

She heard a shrewd scream and realized it came from her as she could see her killer getting higher and higher when in fact she was quickly dropping down to what would surely be her death. The acceptance came with a feeling of terror and she knew that shed never be able to see this world again.

Her body slammed hard on to the floor, her spine and several other bones cracking and popping. Her head hit after her body and the world was visible for a couple of agonizing seconds before everything disappeared into the dark abyss that would release her from life.
