Raisa's PoV:

Another day lead to another night and that meant another show. I did my before show ritual of vocal warm-ups, make-up, costume and mic checks. Everyone I worked with was always smiling and happy to help me, none of them said a thing about my bruises and cuts. My make-up artist would make them all vanish without a trace but would always tear up when she would see me walk in with fresh prints.

"Hello Raisa. You're on in 10." Patricia, my manager, said as she did final checks. "Remember there are very important guests in the audience tonight," She turned and looked directly at me and said flatly, " So don't screw this up, you got that?" With that she left you to get into position.

(Time skip)

From my spot crouched down on the lift I could see the lights flash signalling the beginning of my show, I could hear the roar of the crowd as the lights went out. In my ear I heard "Three, two, one. Raisa, you are live." When I hear that I feel the lift begin to move and I stand up into a bright spotlight as my crowd goes crazy.

The band starts when the lift stops moving, and my first song goes by without any problems and I recive a wall of sound as the crowd roars again.

"Helloooo (Your city)!! How are you doing tonight??" I yell into the mic as I walk onto the catwalk. I stopped right in front of a large group of people. The girls of the group looked to be having a great time while the guys either looked drunk or pissed. "Hmm" i thought "let's have a little fun with this"
The rest of the concert goes by as usual, guys trying to pull me off stage, girls falling over themselves to get close enough to high-five me. Most of them are drunk and half naked by the end of the show. As I begin my last song i look back over to the large group i saw earlier and i noticed that the girls were having the time of their lives and a few of the boys have joined them but most of them just sat there. I had a idea so into the earpiece that was connected to my band I made a last minute change. Instead of an upbeat song, I changed it to one of my only slow, sad songs. Then, to the crowd, "Thank you all for coming out tonight and supporting me! It means so much to me that you guys are here and that you buy my albums and listen to my music, to close out the night I will sing The Last Farewell. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the night and a safe ride home.
The music starts and I begin to sing. All of the pain I've felt over the last few years come pouring out into those lyrics. Every hit, every bottle smashed, every cut, bruise, broken bone. Every last ounce of energy I had. I had closed my eyes and when I opened them, the scene brought tears to my eyes. Everyone had lighters and were swaying to the beat. Even the party poopers in the front row were standing with lighter out. As I entered the last verse, i could feel my legs starting to shake from the exertion. When i hit the last chord, the crowd cheered louder than they had all night. I felt tears start down my face.
"Thank you all, have a great night!" The lift then took me under the stage.
