Love or not

I walk out of my room. I walk to the living room and sit down on my couch and pick up my wiring book. And began to write the dream down. I do this every time it happens. It gives me some relief with these dreams. I then go back to bed. Then I woke up at 6:00 and I was off to work like any other day. I got in the car and turned the key and started the engine. I continued down the road and got to the highway soon after. I drove down and the got off at the 41 exit. I shortly got to the library. I got out and grabbed the new books I got for the place and went inside.

I went to the front desk where jack was working as always. As I hand him the books he said
" how's it going boss." Hechuckles softly. I smiled widely.
" I'm great. What about you jack-a-boy?" I asked still smiling.
" I'm good, Cj." He smiled and then looked at me and said " are you umm maybe" he paused a short second. " never mind. It's nothing." I looked at him with a puzzled look then asked
" I've got a question. I have a reservation for a restaurant and it was meant for an old friend that was coming in but she canceled on me. Would you be interested on going to dinner with me? I'll pay! If you have other plans I'll see if someone else is free. "
He looks at me and it seems as if he's blushing but I can't tell.
" yeah I'd love to go with you. Buddy"
He smiles and starts rubbing the back of his neck.
" awesome. It's at 6:30. So I'll pick you up after work in an hour. Ok jack?" I smile at him.
" yeah that's good with me thanks."
I then walk off to the back to start my update on the books and the payments and income stocks.

It was 4:37 when we closed up the library. I got in my car and sat there for a moment. I looked out my window and saw jack get in his car and pull out on the road. I then did the same but in the other direction.

I made it home around 4:53. I got my phone out of the cup holder and went inside. I got a pair of jeans on, a white tank top on with a black leather jacket on. I pulled my hair up and looked at the time on my phone. 5:27. " well that took less time than I thought." I said to my self.

I sat down on my couch and turned on my favorite anime series, Fairy tale. I watch a one or two episodes when I look at the time. 5:48. I get up and walk out to my car and get in.

I take the same rout as I do to work just past the library. Jack lives quite close to the place so it didn't take long. I got there at 6:27. I walk up the walk way and knock on the door.

" hey Cj. What's up?" He walks out and shuts the door behind himself.
" the sky." I smile and giggle a little. He laughs with me. Then we go to dinner.

As we sat down at the table and ordered I kept thinking about how long we've known each other. How many jobs we've both helped each other through. How we've been friends for 15 years. And how he's helped me through every challenge and how I try to help him through his.

Then I was snapped back to reality by jack.
