Piece of Paper

Part 2

"Okay, Shawna here. Abby sit next to her. Oh! Maverick, you can go over-" The teacher goes on, while walking around the room. He points to various seats, none to which I pay attention to until he calls out my name. 

"Oh! Olivia Lightnim. Where should I put you? Hmm.." While he contemplates where to seat me, I look around the room to the various seat choices. I pay no mind to the few others. The one that catches my attention is where Bob is sitting. He has an empty seat next to him. That really surprises me because-

My thoughts are cut off by Mr. Millers, our teacher, placing me where to sit.

"Oh! Olivia, you can sit over there next to Robert!" He speaks quite happily. I walk over and set my stuff down. I sit in my chair and silently contemplate what just happend. Did I just get seated next to my crush? Did Mr. Millers do this on purpose? Oh my gosh what am I going to do? I can't do this? 

I keep my breathing calm. Mr. Millers has been talking through out the whole lesson. He quickly assigns homework.

I get out a piece of loose leaf paper to copy down my assignment on. I feel a slight tap on my shoulder. I look over to see Bob smiling at me. 

" Could I please have a piece of paper?" He asks pointing down to my loose leaf. I nod and smile at him. I grab my piece of loose leaf paper and give it to him. 

"Thank you....."

"Also, you have a pretty smile." He says smiling at me.

And that's how that started.
