Harmony walked into the club with her best friend, who seemed to be in a rush to get to the bar. Harmony didn't really like clubs and could care less about the next party or the latest rappers.

"Girl get it together! It's time to party!" Daya exclaimed as she shook her curvy frame from sode to side.

Daya had begged Harmony to come to the club with her for days. Harmony had finally given in and now here she was. The music blasted and hoochies were dancing in every direction. Girls with dresses that only came inches away from their asses shook like they were getting electrocuted as Love More by Chris Brown erupted through the club.

"Hell naw. This ain't my scene." Harmony said.

"Girl make it your scene. We bout to turn up!" Daya said putting her arms up in the air and prancing to the bar.

Harmony rolled her eyes. She was more of a home body and very lady like. She was conservative and usually didn't hit the clubs. She'd always been that way. She couldn't help it.

She sported a red jumper that had a low cut v and heels to match. The jumper hugged her curves and she could see men and some women staring her down. She hoped nobody approached her because she was going to turn them down.

"You look evil. Fix ya face." Daya said smirking.

"Girl leave me be. You should be lucky I even came." Harmony said getting mad.

"Harmonique Sherrie Perkins." Daya said in a voice that sounded motherly.

"Girl don't say my government name in public. Niggas be trying to google my ass and steal my identity." Harmony said mugging Daya.

"Girl don't nobody want your identity. They can't do nothing but fix your credit score broke as you is." Daya said pursing her lips.

"You foul for that." Harmony said frowning.

"Here take this." Daya said handing Harmony a drink.

Harmony took a sip and then another. She liked the lemonade flavor. She knew that she was probably going to be drunk off her ass after this, but the drink was too good

"Damn slow down for your ass be swinging around on this damn chandelier." Daya said as she sipped her own drink.

The nect thing Harmony knew, she room was spinning and the music seemed to go faster and then way too slow. Lay it Down by Lloyd started to play and she felt like she was moving in slow motion as she twirled her hips.

"Been a long time since I seen you." Harmony heard a familiar voice.

She slowly turned to face her ex, Wayne. He was someone she really didn't want to see. He'd broken her heart a year ago and left her for some girl he met at his home boy's birthday party. She never foregave him and swore off relationships after that.

"Not long enough." Harmony said rolling her eyes.

"Why you so mean eh?" Wayne had the nerve to ask.

He towered over her. She was only 5'0 and he was 6'4. She hated that because she felt intimidated when they used to date. He would always corner her and whisper sweet nothings in her ear.

"You know why." She said before turning around to leave him behind.

"Wait. Can't we talk?" He asked as he grabber her arm.

"No. Don't ever touch me." She said snatching out of his grip.

"I do what I want. You still mines." He said as his jaw clenched.

"Fuck you. I'm my own person. I'm not no damn item." She said trying to get out of his grip again.

"Bitch don't forget who paid your bills all them months we was together." He said through clenched teeth as he tightened his grip on her arm.

"You're hurting me. Get off me!" She yelled at him.

"Let the lady go." Another person said.

She and Wayne turned to see a tall light skinned guy with a red beanie and dimple piercings. He wore a white button down, black slacks, a grey suit jacket, and black combat boots. Harmony couldn't see his face clearly because he wore shades and it was dark in the club.

"Who gon stop me?" Wayne said getting smart.

Whoever the guy was remained calm. He was a bit shorter than Wayne but only by an inch or two still leaving him to tower over Harmony. Harmony took this as her chance to get the hell out of there. She pried Wayne's fingers off her and backed away.

"Get back here. I'm not done with you!" Wayne grabbed her by her hair.

The guy who was standing up for her punched Wayne in the face. Wayne stumbled back and slid to the floor. Harmony stood there in shock at what she'd just seen. Wayne lay unconscious and now they guy was looking at her.

"You okay?" He asked.

"No. Not really." She slurred. She was starting to feel the alcohol.

"You wanna get out of here?" The guy asked

"Hell yea." Harmony said taking the chance to get out of that horrid club.

"I'm Cash by the way. And you are?"

"Harmony. Nice to meet you Cash." Harmony said as Cash lead her out of the club.
