Four days pass and she doesn't bump into him again. She's just surprised at the end of the day that he's standing outside her classroom, tapping his foot nervously and running his fingers through his hair. He looks around and catches her eye, an awkward smile spreading on his lips as he raises his hand in greeting and starts to walk over to her.

"Hey," he smiles rather bashfully at her, and at that one word, whispers erupt throughout the entire hallway. She can't hear what they're saying, but she doesn't exactly care about them.

Not with this beautiful boy standing in front of her.

He holds out his hand, and she notices for the first time that he has a black leather bracelet tied around his thin wrist. "Do you mind going somewhere with me today? Are you busy?"

"N-no, I'm not busy." she shakes her head, finding it hard to find her voice all of a sudden. "Where are we going?"

He doesn't answer. He just gives her another heart-stopping smile as he suddenly reaches over and slips his hand in hers, causing the onlookers to start whispering again. She feels her cheeks heat up as this time, she grows more conscious of what they were saying. She can hear every single word.

"Are they an item now?"

"But I thought he was dating Mina!"

"No way... BamBam likes her?!"

She tugs her hand away, stuffing it in her pocket and lowering her head so that her hair covers her face. She flinches when he leans down slightly and pushes her hair out of her face, a frown on his pink lips as he takes note of her expression and straightens up again to shoot a glare at everybody who's whispering. They silence down immediately.

Again, he takes her hand and put their hands in his coat pocket, keeping a firm grip on it so that she can't pull it away. Then he walks, pulling her with him. He doesn't speak until they leave the campus.

"I'm sorry for that." he apologizes sheepishly, glancing at her. "The news hasn't really spread yet."

"Y-You have a girlfriend?" she asks him, her voice quiet.

"I used to. We broke up last night. Our relationship didn't work out." he says cheerfully.

She wonders how he can still sound so cheerful even after a breakup, as if it means nothing to him. Normally, people who have just gotten out of relationships would be all sad and depressed, but he didn't seem to be like that.

"You're still so...so cheerful, though," she states bluntly. To her surprise, he lets out a chuckle at her statement.

"You know the new girl, right? Minatozaki Sana?" he says, smiling. She nods. "Well, it turns out that Mina, my now ex girlfriend, is actually interested in that girl in a romantic way, so... yeah, we broke up." He falls silent for a split second, then adds, "We're still very good friends, though. Our friendship hasn't changed one bit, so it's all good."

She doesn't really know what to say so she just keeps quiet. Just mere seconds later, he suddenly squeezes her hand causing her to jump in surprise and a blush to creep up on her cheeks.

"What are you thinking of?" his voice is surprisingly soft, a question spoken with his lips right beside her ear, and she shivers involuntarily as she feels his breath on her earlobe.

"N-nothing." she shakes her head quickly.

"Are you always this quiet?" he asks her, and all she does is shrug in reply. He lets out a sigh and makes a sudden turn into an alleyway.

"W-where are we going?" she asks, her voice cracking.

He doesn't give her an answer, but stops in front of a glass door. He fishes out a small key from his other pocket and unlocks the door with one hand, pushing it open and in the darkness, she can see some things shining.
