"Dr Terror is back-luhhh." pagbati ni Anne na kapapasok lang sa changing room kung saan nandun si Karylle ready for her early morning shift.

"Night shift?"

"Graveyard shift... Literal na graveyard girl, walang ganap, as in walang wala."

"Are you back tonight?"

"No, bukas na ulit... Thank goodness."

"Bakit? Akala ko ba buhay mo tong medicine?"

"Well I realized na after working with Dr Terror... I realized na there are more things in life na mas importante."

"Ano?"

"I don't know, like a personality... Like a social community, family? Loner si Kaye noh? Kaya siguro ganun ka-sungit."

"Anne, give her a break." sabi ni Karylle na napachuckle sa mga pinag sasasabi ni Anne.

"I wouldn't be surprised kung menopausal stage na sya. Sungit level 100%, achieved na achieved!"

"Well, thank you for a great shift booster. I'm looking forward to staying away from her today."

"Just a slight heads up, you're working with her today. Kaya nope, you can't stay away. Goodluck na lang talaga."

"Hey Tatlonghari, I heard you and Dr Viceral have a thing going on."

"Morning to you too, Dr Romeo." Sabi ni Karylle na lalo binilisan ang lakad nya ng hindi sya maabutan ni Terrence.

"Kung hindi lang masyadong ballsy si Dr Heussaff eh I would have done the same thing... Si Dr Zulueta naman masyadong cougar, si Dr Abad....never gonna happen."

"Ano bang pinagsasasabi mo dyan?"

"Oh come on, Karylle, we all know what you're doing. Alam mo, one of my ex slept her way through medschool kaya naman ngayon sa Harvard na sya nag aaral."

"Seryoso ka ba?"

"Oo. Kaya talaga mas swerte ang mga babae pag dating sa mga ganitong bagay eh. It's hard for us guys to sleep our way up the ladder yoy know...Tell me, is he as good as the nurses are saying?"

"Romeo, let me make this clear. I am not working my way up the top by sleeping with Dr Viceral."

"Oh? Edi sino?"

"Top of who? Dr Viceral?" Terrence continued kaya naman nag walk away na lang si Karylle dahil alam nyang hindi sya titigilan ni Terrence hanggang sa mainis sya.

"Good morning Dr Abad." sabi ni Karylle ng maabutan nya ang resident nya sa may nurses station na nagbabasa ng files.

"What's good about the morning?" Nakukunot na sabi nito at binalik ang tingin sa binabasa nya.

"I have a consult down in gynae-"

"Okay Dr Abad, let's go.."

"No... I'm going, you're staying here."

"Anong ibig nyong sabihin?"

"Dr Tatlonghari, are you deaf, stupid, or both?" Binalik ni Kaye yung folder sa nurse at tumayo in front of Karylle.

"I was assigned to work with you today, kaya nagtatanong lang ako kung bakit hindi ako sasama sa consult nyo with Dr Zulueta."
