"Sweet tooth?" he asked

" yeah" i snort rubbing my head "the place I'm staying in has everything I need except for" I waved my hand over the treats

"I see" he laughed packing my items neatly into a bag

"Are you enjoying your stay here?" he asked trying to make general conversation

"I've only been here a full day it's different, from home but yeah, so far I'm enjoying this place" I nodded truthfully

"That's great, if you want i co-"

"Lily" a semi familiar voice chimed loudly behind me

Turning my back on mike instantly greeted by a smiling giant striding toward me.

"Paul, hi" i greeted stiffly

As his booming steps got close enough his large arms embraced me in a powerful hug, my face plush against his thin blue t-shirt his scent invaded my nostrils, inhaling the fresh earthly forest musk.

"It's nice to see you again" he smiled brightly stepping back offering me my personal space, leaning forward whispering in my ear "i'm glad you didn't jump"

Almost instantly I could feel a fluster travel from my neck to my cheeks, smirking I shook my head in amusement.

A cough behind me had me scrambling realizing i'd yet to pay for my items, turning around apologizing to Mike I couldn't help but notice his blue orbs flickering behind me, the two hadn't greeted each other but i was certain they at least knew of one another, if anything the tension was enough to even assume they didn't like each other.

After paying for my items i thanked Mike reaching for my bags. A strong arm stopped me taking the bags from my grip, mikes eyes meeting mine and dodging back to Paul's hand.

"Parked outside right" Paul asked tilting his head like a puppy

"Yeah, the silver car" i pointed my head toward the direction out of the window

Thanking Mike once again i followed out the store toward my car. I couldn't help staring at Paul's back view it had me wondering what someone ate to get so tall and bulky. He was as tall as the trees i'd seen in the forest. Okay, maybe that was a bit of a lie but almost as tall.

I unlocked my car as Paul place the bags on the back seat "bumping into each other again it must be destiny" he crossed his arms smugly

I couldn't help but burst out laughing his comment taking me off guard "really" I raised my eyebrow "if that line is what works for you then-" i shook my head laughing

"That's one of my best lines" he laughed along playfully leaning back against the car

"You say destiny, i say stalking" I clicked my tongue back smugly making him hold his hands up in surrender

"Lahote leave the poor girl alone" an equally built guy stepping out of a truck shouted making his way over as another guy leaving the store spotted us heading over. All golden skinned, tall and bulky. What the hell were they feeding these people.

"Lily this is Embry and Jared" he motioned his hand between both boys

"Hi" I said feeling small

"Lily just moved here, she lives in the cottage in the middle of the boarder" he informed his friend to my horror

"Nice to meet you both" smiling at both Embry and Jared. My eye involuntary scanned each of their bulky arms noticing each had the same tattoo. My eye bounced back to Paul noticing he had the same one.
