Chapter 4

|Kayleighs pov|
I didn't sleep at all last night so I look awful and I have school. I couldn't stop thinking about what Jacob said.
What if he's just using me. What if he is going to cheat on me. What if he is just playing me. What if I mean nothing to him. Does our relationship even mean anything to him?

I get up and my eyes are red and puffy from crying. "Great" I said rolling my eyes. I put on a little make up and brush my hair and teeth. I put on some skinny jeans, a t-shirt that has my last name on the back and my white high tops. I grab my headphones and start walking to school.
The song U only call me when it's raining out came on and I felt like I was going to cry. I instantly skip it and I look over where Jacob normally is and he isn't there. I put my head down and start walking. "Hey Kayleigh wait!" I heard someone yell. I turn around hoping its Jacob but it's Joey. "Oh hey" I said. "Hey!" He said smiling. He grabbed my hand and walked to school with me. We get there and talk for a few minutes. "I need to go to class" I said. "I love you" he said. "Love you to" I said walking away with my head down. I really like Joey but what if he is going to cheat on me. Joey means everything to me and I don't want to loose him because of some girl who is going to be "better" than me. I could feel my eyes start to tear up so I run out of the classroom. I ran all the way home and went to my room  I locked my bedroom door and broke down.
I finally got myself together an hour later. I look at my phone and I have 10 messages from Jacob and 12 from Joey.

After I read the messages I heard someone knock on the door. I wipe my tears and go and answer it. I see Joey standing in the door and I instantly crash into him and cry.
"It's okay I'm right here" he said kissing my forehead.
"Would you ever cheat on me?" I ask letting him go. "What? No! Who told you that?" He said pulling me into a hug. "Jacob" I said. "No I would never cheat on you. You mean way to much to me to ever let you go. I love you!" He said kissing me. "I love you to" I said kissing him back.

After that Jacob showed up and Joey gave him this really dirty look. "Calm down its gonna be okay" I whispered to Joey. He pulled me into his lap and we all watched a movie together. "I should get going" Jacob said. "But we haven't finished the movie" I said. "Yeah but I need to go" he said. "Oh- well okay bye"
I said. "Bye" he said.

|Jacobs pov|
I saw Joey keep giving me dirty looks and I couldn't take seeing the girl of my dreams cuddling with someone else so I had to leave. I went home and ran straight to my room. "Why Joey why not me" I screamed into a pillow.
"I can't treat her so much better than him. Why him?" I said screaming.
I punched the wall and walked out of my room. "Are you okay" my mom asked me. I just ignored her and walked to the park. All these thoughts were going through my head.
Why did she choose him? What's so bad about me? I can treat her way better than he can! Why do I even like her?
It started to rain so I ran back home.
"Jacob your soaked lets get you cleaned up" my mom said. "No I'm fine" I said running to my room. I locked my door and got changed.
"Mom do I have to go to school tomorrow" I yelled downstairs.
"Not if you don't want to" she said.
I'm skipping school tomorrow because I don't want to see Joey or Kayleigh.

|Kayleighs pov|
I get off of Joey and go find some food.
"We have no food ugh" I said sitting back down next to Joey. "Can you text Kelianne and see if they want to come over?" I asked Joey. "Yeah" he said back. "Thanks" I said. "Anything for you" he said making me blush.
A few minutes later they got here.
"What do y'all want to do?" Kelianne asked. "Truth or Dare" Tayler suggested. "Let's go" we all said.
"Tayler you start" I said.
"Okay Joey truth or dare?" He asked.
"Dare" Joey said.
Tayler looked at me then back to Joey.
"I dare you to kiss Kayleigh" Tayler said.
"Seriously dude?" Joey said.
He leaned in and kissed me. I heard Kelianne say "awe goals" and I laughed causing us to stop kissing.
"Truth or dare Kelianne?" Joey asked.
"Dare I'm not a wimp" she said making us laugh.
"I dare you to kiss Tayler" Joey said smirking.
"Get some Tayler" Cody said.
We played for a couple more hours and it was so much fun. "Bye guys" I said to Tayler, Cody, and Kelianne. "Bye" they said.
"Bye gorgeous" Joey said kissing me.
"Bye I love you" I said. "I love you to" he said. I heard my phone go off and I look at it.
