You left me in the snow,
On that cold winter morning,
Telling me
That I am ordinary.

You told me
I am nothing special.
Just a pretty face
With no name behind it.

You left me with a hole,
Where my heart used to be.
Just a black void,
Waiting to be filled.

And you filled that hole
Up with ash
Left over
From our burning love.

Then I met another boy
Who told me he loved me
Who said I am worth something
But those were all lies.

He did
The same thing you did
Used me up
And said goodbye.

That was when I learned,
I am nothing special,
I am not worth anything,
And that I am ordinary.
