"Do it. Just let em. They live 10 minutes away and Nicole a smart girl. AJ got his head in the right direction aside from the gang shit" Lexis shrugged his shoulders

"Are you an idiot? Do you remember what happened when we were alone for the first time in my room. Then when I moved in with you?" I laughed

"Don't go into details. But that just gives me all the more reason not to let em" Arley let out a small chuckle

"Aye. AJ n Nicole wasn't Nelle n I. Yeah Nelle n I was bad, I ain't finna lie. But in all reals, don't let em. I was jus playin"

"You better have been. Plus he's older than her, that's just wrong" I laughed some more

"What's wrong is your new baby drama. That's what's wrong. Speakin of, y'all hear anythin new?"

"Nope." We both said together

"Still crazy but not my problem. What's new with y'all? Got any plans?" He laid back down onto the sand folding his hands behind his head

"We're just taking it day by day with Ty. But I did want all of us to get out of Oakland for like a week or 2." Lexis yawned

"Get out of Oakland? Why?" Arley laughed with that cute laugh I love. I'm not doin anything. He has his usual laugh and then his cute laugh that I personally love. I ain't even messing with Arley or my feelings for him. So y'all can just relax

"I'm bored here. Plus I want a family vacation where all the kids can go run off and do their thing while us thugs do our own thing or we leave the kids here and just us thugs go. Either way the thugs needa get out of town"

"We can't just leave the kids!" I yelled at him

"Uh yes we can. We can figure out an arrangement for them" Lexis said

"Then you figure all this out. I ain't doin shit" I stuck my tongue out at him

"I'm down for it" Arls said

"Then it's official. We all leavin for a week. Let's go to Atlantic City" I saw Lexis's eyes glow

"Fuck yes. I'll tell the guys, I think they're still at the trap" Arls got up and wiped the sand off of him

"Ight, take my car" Lexis threw his keys. Arley dapped Lexis then gave me a quick hug before walking off to the car "and then there were two...on the entire beach"

"Hell no. Don't even think like that. I ain't down to do that shit-" I was cut off with a kiss.

"You're no fun" he laughed as he laid back. I turned around so I was straddling him

"I'm fun, just not on no damn beach" I laughed a little

"What's that sound?" He quickly sat up and looked around

"What sound?"

"I thought I heard sirens or some shit. Oh well" he still looked eerie "listen"

"Put your hands where I can see them. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do will be held against you in court." A cop car was parked at the top of the beach.

"What the fuck." Were Lexis's last words before he got up an put his hands behind his head and started walking up to the cop car.

Joey: is this Arley?
Me: yeah, is this Joey?
Joey: you got it, where you at?
Me: drivin, you?
Joey: meet me at Denny's. It's urgent
