PROLOUGE

Once I dreamed to be married, have a good life together with my family and with him. But my dream page was torn. I've wasted my efforts,time and love. That day I was out of control, he gave me an ultimatum, that of course I can't choose between the two. I love him, but I love the most my father. The reason behind of it is the condition of my Father. He's suffering from stage 2 Pneumonia. That day, He had an heart attack together with his illness. The day I'll say ''I DO'' , the day I will be married. He gave me choices I can't answer, he gave me the chance to choose between them. But one thing came to my mind , The person who raised me for 18 years, the man who loves us unconditionally. I chose my father an flew to New York, because Dad's personal doctor said that, it would be easier for him to recover there. 2 months staying there is not quite good, Everyday I was lack of sleep because Papu needed some stuffs and needed to do some stuffs. Years have passed but my Papu standed strong. He got stable and got back to the Philippines. My life before was different today like yesterday, I was a highschool student doing some stuffs and playing Volleyball. But now? Everything was changed. This summer I was working in the company of the the Paras's, and being a working student. Even though they like and I like to play, I didn't because there are lots of people are expecting me to do some family obligations. I know my life didn't go well from the past. But I need to be positive because I have 3 persons expecting me to do so. My 2 older sister are now married and separated from us. And me and my younger brother was left Jobok, to take good care of my Papu.

2nd Girl's POV.

''You bastard! Ho home to your Mom! I didnt raised you like that''

''I didn't even teach you to drink, smoke join casino's and stuff'' My father almost shouted at me as I wake from my hangover last night...with friends.

''Yeah! You're right! You never teach anything! Don't sound like you care! Because you were busy in business! I didn't ask you for your time! I did ask for you to care! Puro trabaho! Tangina Dad! Edi sana business na lang pinakasalan mo! Buti nga aalis na ako! Kasi, ang alam ni Mom titino ako dito, pero hindi! The hell I care kung aalis ako! Give me my Visa, passport and my papers and stuffs, doon na rin siguro ako mag breakfast.'' I also shouted at him.

I don't care, yeah maybe I've changed, a lot. Wala kasing nag-guide saakin eh. Masyado silang busy for some nonsense doing. Imbes na alagaan, puro papers yung inaalagaan nila. Kaya naging malaya ako. I don't care kung maging grounded , or anything na punishment na ibigay ni Mom. Hindi kasi ako nakakapigil kapag si Dad. Hindi ako seryoso. Dumeretso ako sa kwarto ko and started packing kahit naman iiyak ko to wala akong magagawa. Siguro nga tama sila na I'm influenced by bad people na surrounded ako sakanila, pero kasalanan nila yun.

''Ma'am pinapasabi po ni Sir, bukas daw po yung flight ninyo pabalik ng pilipinas'' Sabi noong maid at bumalik na.

''Bakit hindi pa ngayon?'' Tanong ko sakanya

''May meeting daw po siya nagyon eh'' sabi ni Yaya.

Hindi ko na lang pinansin si Yaya na lumabas. Tignan niyo, imbes na i-encourage niya ako or mag-sorry man lang. Wala, kaya tuloy ako napapalayo sakanya eh. Masyado siyang matigas.

Nang naayos ko na, I called Mom.

''Mom, I'm going home!'' Excited kong pambungad sakanya

''What did you do? akala ko pa naman din titino ka na?'' Galit niyang sabi saakin.

''Pati naman ba ikaw? kasalanan niyo to eh! hindi naman ako magkakaganito dahil sainyo! Magtatanong kayo kung anong ginawa ko, pero hindi naman niyo ako kinakamusta, iniintindi. Ano to Ma? lokohan?'' Sabi ko tas nagdabog na.

''Yan ba ang itinuro namin saiyo Bea?'' Sabi niya nagmamatigas na silang dalawa ah.

hindi na lang ako umimik.

''I've got a perfect punishment for you'' Biglang nangibabaw yung galit ko ulit.

''what?'' Sabi ko na masungit.

''Isabel Beatriz de Leon, you going to study here'' Sabi niya and nanlaki yung mata ko.

''noo---'' Pero bigla niyang binaba!
