I booted up my computer, powering on my camera and the rest of my recording equipment I was ready to record today. I opened up my recording software. There was just one issue. What do I play? Oh, I knew exactly what to play. I stared into the camera, reciting my intro like always. "Hello everyone, and welcome back to Tube Tycoon!"

~Time skip to the middle of recording~

I had noticed that Ashley had been standing behind me. I didn't bother to look up at her. "Hey Ashley!" I smiled and waited for a response... It took around ten seconds of silence for the information that something was wrong to get through my thick skull. I looked up at her, and she glared down at me. There was an anger in her eyes that I have never seen before. "Ashley..?" She just glared at me, before exploding into tears. I reached up to touch her arm and comfort her, but before I could do anything she started screaming. "Don't touch me! Matt you act like you don't realise any of the sh*t that you've done! I try so hard to get you off of your lazy ass, but all you ever do is play these stupid games!" By now she was sobbing, but I guess she didn't want my comfort. "I just want to spend time with you! That's all I've ever wanted! I thought that our upcoming marriage would change this!" I fought back the tears that were trying to escape. "I-I'm just trying to--" She cut me off by screaming with rage. I saw her ball her fists up, trying to calm down. She took a few deep breaths. "I want to leave..." She removed her engagement ring and set it down on my desk. I couldn't help but let the tears spill out. "But..." She sighed and looked down. "I'm sorry Matt. I had to get this off of my chest... I didn't think it would come to this. I've already packed all of my clothes. I'll be calling a moving truck to get my stuff soon." She left the room. I heard the bumping of a suitcase being taken over the doorframe, and then the front door shut. I sniffled and decided to clean up in the bathroom. I could cut that whole thing out of the video. I came back to the desk, only to shut off the camera.

I had decided that instead of trying to record the rest of the video, I'd make a vlog explaining that I needed a short break from youtube. I picked up my vlogging camera and turned it on. "Hello everyone." I was surprised that my voice sounded so dull and gloomy. "I'm making this video to say that I'm going to be taking a couple of weeks away from youtube." I was fighting back tears. "There was a little incident that came up while recording my newest video." I sniffled, and a tear escaped from one eye. Wiping it away with my sleeve, I continued. "I'll be posting the part of the video that happened before the whole..." Another tear escaped. I've never cried on camera before. "Action came up. Anyways, I won't be posting for a couple of weeks for personal time off." I tried to force a smile. "I'll see you all in a couple weeks. Don't miss me too much." I ended the video. I spent a few minutes running it through the editing software to make sure the audio is in synch, and then I uploaded it. I started to watch my tube tycoon video, checking for when I should cut. That's when I realized that Ashley had been standing behind me for at least a minute! I only had about three minutes of usable footage. I made sure to put a screen on the end of the video explaining that this is where the incident came up. I saved, then posted the video before realizing that I had gotten a few comments on my vlog. I read the most recent one. "Guys! Matt is on the market!" I started to sob. Yeah, I guess I really was on the market. I really was alone. I didn't want to reply to that one. I started wiping away more tears, before uncovering my eyes and smiling at my screen. Jacksepticeye had commented on my video. "Hey Matt! Big fan of your videos, they're really funny. Don't worry, this kind of stuff happens to the best of us. Lots of hope from all of us to you. You'll make it through One question. Still up for coming to pax?" I smiled while reading the comment. It was nice to smile, I know I won't be smiling much for these next few days. I replied to him. "Yeah, I'll be coming to pax. Hope to see everyone there." I hope my reply didn't sound too harsh. I shut off my computer and went to bed.

I had a hard time falling asleep. I stayed under my covers for a few hours, thinking about how Ashley left. When I was finally able to sleep, my dreams were restless. Ashley was running. I found myself running after her. She was crying. Wherever her tears hit the ground, the ground dissolved. There were holes all over the floor. All of the tears she must have shed without me noticing these past few years. All because of my ignorance. She kept running, but stopped crying as she had seen a figure in the distance. She started to smile and ran up to the man. He hugged her and then turned to face me. It was Jack! He smirked, before leaning down and whispering something into her ear. I woke up when their lips were about to meet. I didn't feel angry. Just depressed. Why be mad at Jack for a stupid dream that he had no control of? Plus, Ashley deserved a guy better than me. I just wondered why it had to be Jack of all people that I dreamt of with Ashley. I sighed and got myself a cup of coffee, before sitting on the couch to watch TV.
