Falling in Love with the Neighborhood Bully

A New Beginning

  I woke up bright and early because today was the day that me and Cool Cat were going to ride bikes around the neighborhood. I just moved here and I already made a friend in the same day! It's been a month now and Cool Cat and I are best friends forever. We go on all sorts of adventures and there hasn't been a day were we aren't together. Cool Cat told me he loved me the other day but I don't believe him because he tells a ton of other kids that too. I went over to his house and his dad answered the door. "Well hello there Maria! What are you up to on this lovely Saturday morning?" Derek Savage asked. "Cool Cat and I are going bike riding around the neighborhood," I smiled and said "I was wondering if he was up yet." Just as I said that, Cool Cat peeked his head over his dad's shoulder and shouted, "Maria!" "Hey Cool Cat. Are you ready to go?" I smiled and asked. "I sure am!" Replied Cool Cat, walking out of the door. "Well now, hold on one second. You forgot something Cool Cat." Derek said, putting his helmet on his head. "Thanks Daddy! I forgot all about my helmet!" Cool Cat said. "You're so silly Cool Cat, but you have to remember that if you're always silly you might just get hurt and die and that would be bad." Replied Daddy Derek. Daddy Derek has always been Cool Cats role model and life coach. Cool Cat and I both waved goodbye to Daddy Derek, got on our bikes and started down the road. "Maria, you're soooooooo beautiful! Has anyone ever told you that?" Cool Cat said to me. "Thanks Cool Cat. You're so sweet!" I said giggling. "Oh no! Here comes a car! We better get on the side walk!" Cool Cat said. As we were getting over to the side walk, I fell off my bike and cut my knee open. I started crying and yelled for Cool Cat. "Owwww! Cool Cat help I hurt my knee!" There were tears everywhere. Cool Cat came over to me and looked at my knee but before he could say anything, the car that was passing by had caught my attention. I looked to see who was driving the car but the only person who caught my eye was a boy in the passenger seat. He was so attractive. He had long blonde hair, a cute chubby face, and perfect blue eyes. I just knew I had to have him but he would never love me. I mean I'm just a new girl around here and somebody that attractive probably has dozens of women lined up just to get to be with him. I don't know who he is, but all I know is that I want to be with him forever...
