Chapter 7 ~ Mornings

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I woke up with rays of sunshine hitting my face. I squinted as I sat up, I was reminded of Haru when I felt him slide off my chest. He too woke up, Haru sat up rubbing his eyes and yawned. I smiled,

"Good morning," I said and Haru smiled back,

"Good morning to you too," he replied making me giggle. I hopped off the bed and went into my closet,

"Haru I have to get ready could you step out for a second," I asked, Haru nodded and left the room. I took a minute to find out what I was going to wear. I felt a little lazy today so I put on a big black sweater that was a least three sizes too big for me. I grabbed my black leggings and pulled my hair into a ponytail. I walked out of my room and saw Haru sitting on his bed. I began to notice his shirt had stains on it, "Haru do you need me to find you something to wear," I asked

"Oh uh well it would be nice," Haru replied looking down onto his shirt, he pulled at it.

"Here.come with me," I said and Haru followed behind me as I went into the closet of our guest bedroom, "my cousin Timothy stays here every once in a while and he left his clothes here. I'm sure he won't mind you borrowing his clothes,"

"Okay," Haru said in a delightful tone. I grabbed out a jock type jacket and a white T-shirt. I also took a pair of black pants. I threw it all onto the bed and turned back towards Haru. (See picture for reference)

"Try all that on and come out when you're done," I said going out into the hall. I waited for a few minutes before I heard the door open and Haru step out. The jacket was way to big for him but the jeans and T-shirt looked great. Haru laughed and took the jacket off.

"It's a little different compared to what I normally wear but it'll do," Haru said and we both walked upstairs. That's when I noticed Haru's tail. It didn't have any place to go so the pants were scrunched down. I ran into the kitchen and grabbed some scissors out of the junk drawer. I saw Haru come into the kitchen with me.

"Here turn around I promise I won't hurt you," I said showing Haru the scissors. Reluctantly he turned around slowly, I stepped up behind him and cut a hole in the jeans. I pulled Haru's tail through and backed away looking at my work

"What did you do," Haru asked looking at his tail,

"I cut a hole in the back of your jeans so your tail wouldn't be scrunched," I replied and Haru smiled,

"Thank you," He said

"You're welcome," I said back and grabbed two apples, I handed one to Haru and I grabbed my back pack and shoes. Haru did the same taking a bite into his apple, "we better hurry or we are going to miss the bus,"

"You're right," Haru said and we both walked out the door eating our apples together. Something told me today is going to be an exciting day.
