So Initiation...
In my band, the first real football game in which we wore full uniforms was also the day of Freshman Initiation. Now what happens is we all get lined up to march on the field for halftime and while we wait everyone(particulary freshman since its the first game) trys to make sure they put their uniform on correctly. Upperclassmen in band love to go up to the freshman and mess with them by telling them "Your plume is on backwards." They also will go up to you and unbutton your jacket.
