Chapter 2

Sierras pov

Today Jason is well enough to start thearpy so I'm helping him

"take it nice and slow, you don't have to rush" I said he was struggling to walk and keep his balance which caused him to fall and he took me down too.

"I'm so sorry" he said

"don't apologize it's gonna take some time it's just day one" I said

Jason's pov

Wow she's pretty and so sweet and her eyes are as  blue as the ocean.

"you have the prettiest eyes, hey how would you like to go out to dinner" I asked she blushed

"I'd love too hows six thirty at your place tonight" she asked

"sounds good I'll see you then" I said she nodded and helped me up and we finished my therapy and then my sister took me home

"so you and the doctor how'd that happen" Kasi asked

"I don't know we just had a special connection" I said she smiled

"I'm glad it's about time you got back in the dating game" she said I frowned I just got out a marriage about a year ago and I'm just now getting over it, we were together for six years and then things started going down hill, and things got worse when I found out that my brother and his wife were in a car accident I got coustdy of my three month old neice Kansas that was almost six months ago Kansas is now nine months old and calls me daddy.

Sierras pov

Miranda and Rachel came over to help me get ready I took a quick shower and then I came out to my room and they had picked out a beautiful ivory lace dress with a blue jean jacket with my boots.

"it's beautiful" I said so Miranda curled my hair and fixed it and Rachel did my makeup

"you look hot" Miranda said

"Jason's eyes are gonna pop out of their sockets once he sees you" Rachel said we laughed and hugged

"I love you two don't wait up for me" I said Miranda gave me an over night bag

"just incase things get spicy" she said I laughed and went to my truck.

Jason's pov

I had just got Kansas to bed and I was making supper when I heard her pull up I rolled to the door and opened it, wow she looks beautiful I like it, it's different seeing her not wearing scrubs but it hot.

"Jason hello Jason" I heard her say I snapped out of my day dream

"oh hey sorry um come in you look great" I said

"thank you" she said so we went to the kitchen

"something smells amazing" and said

"my famous five cheese Lazanga with a salad and fresh homemade garlic bread" I said

"wow a man that cooks I like" she said I laughed and handed her a glass of wine she took a sip

"is this 1931 Tennessee red wine" she asked I nodded

"how'd you know it's my favorite" she asked

"your friends told me" I said she laughed and shook her head. So we sat down to eat

"wow Jason this is amazing how did you learn to cook like this" she asked I should tell her

"Sierra there's something I need to tell you, I have a daughter, well she's my niece but I got coustdy of her when she was three months old and now she's nine months old and her frist word was daddy and that's what she knows me as I hope this doesn't freak you out" I asked she took my hand

"Jason I don't mind at all, I deal with kids every day I can't wait to meet her" she said just then I heard Kansas crying over the baby monitor

"well you can meet her now I'll be right back do you wanna come" I asked she smiled and nodded and we went down the hall to Kansas room

"hey sweetie shh daddy's here" I said picking her up out of the crib and rocking her shh'ing her

"oh Jason she's adorable can I hold her" she asked I nodded and handed her to her she sat in the rocking chair and hummed while rocking her until she fell asleep

"wow your great with her I even have trouble getting her to bed at night" I said she smiled

"I was told a few months ago that I couldn't have kids my ex and I when we were together we were engaged and we started trying to have a baby but I could never get pregnant, I had two miscarriages and then we went to a special doctor and he told me that I'm infertile and I think that's one reason why we broke up was because I couldn't give him what he wanted" she said

"wow that's awful I can't imagine what thats like hearing that you'll never have kids" I said she looked at me with tears in her eyes

"it's awful I would do anything to have a family anything" she said I put Kansas back in her crib and hugged her.

I walked her to the door

"I had a great time tonight maybe when you can walk again we can go out for drinks and dancing" she said

"I can't dance but yea drinks would be great see you in the morning doctor" I said she nodded and laughed and got in her truck.
