I had knocked Garroth out

I heard the sirens before I saw the lights

Aphmaus pov

I slowly blinked my eyes open

Why am I in a hospital?

Where is Laurance?

Why am I alone

Laurances pov

"Your honor! I'm not guilty I was only defending myself!"

"He beat me and my girlfriend!" Garroth said

"No. Your honor he was abusive then he broke up with her!"

"GUILTY!" Th judge said

My stomach dropped

I-I'm going to prison

Aphmau is in the hospital

I'm going to prison

And the bad guy gets let off of the hook?

I needed to get to aphmau

"Your honor. If aphmau was here she could explain everything."

"Oh really? Well I guess your free to go. When aphmau is ready you will both be called back to court!"

"Dismissed!"
