[Lucy's POV]
A new school. Yay... It's only the like 3rd, maybe 4th in a year. Whatever.
She entered the doors of Mavis High School. As she did, she saw a sea of purple, green, and white. School Colors. Not very pretty ones at that. She had already received her uniform in the mail. It consisted of a plaid purple and green skirt with some white details. For my shirt, I had a white polo. There was no school-specific shoe. So I decided to just wear my high top green converse.
I looked around. People around here had very... unique faces and creative uh hair colors. I felt so plain here. I had blonde, dirty, medium length hair and plain chocolate covered eyes. One girl over there has dark blue hair with brown eyes with a hint of pink. Oh, and he has orange hair with hazel eyes. There is even a girl with electric blue hair with icy, blue eyes.
And then there is me...
I proceeded to front office. I stepped in and an older woman with pale skin, white hair, and small, red eyes. She was... very annoyed looking. I read her plaque, Secretary Porlyusica.
"umm... I am... uh... Lucy. Lucy Heartfillia, new student. I am looking for Principal 's office."
She glared at me and pointed to the door on the right of her.
"T-Thanks."
I quickly scooted into his office to be met with a 60-some, white-haired man. His hair is short and his eyes were welcoming. I read his plaque, Principal Makarov Dreyar.
"Hello, I am Lucy. Lucy Heartfillia. The new student." I said with a plastered-on smile and a little bow of the head.
"Hello, my dear. I've been expecting you." He smiled, his voice somewhat was rough, yet kind.
I smiled, a fake one of course since this school would be hell like all the others.
"Here is your schedule." He handed a green-tinted piece of paper to me. "Oh and a map of the school. Our school is rather large, but you'll get the hang of it." He smiled.
I bowed and turned to leave before he startled me by shouting, "WAIT."
I turned slowly.
He laughed, "I am sorry to have startled you. I just forgot, I could rearrange a meeting with a student to help you this first day."
"I can figure it out. Thank you." I said colder than intended. He smiled and waved me out.
I walked down the crowded hallway. Grasping on to my sports illustrated magazine and a novel we have to read for my AP Lit class, I have already read it, though. I mean it's Pride and Prejudice, who hasn't? Sigh. I bumped into a few people as I made my way to 1st period: AP Human Geography. I entered the large classroom and was one of the first ones there. I took an empty seat in the middle of the room, close to the front, but not too close.
I tossed my bag underneath my desk and pulled out Pride and Prejudice. 8 minutes until the bell. A few minutes passed and I hadn't looked up until a guy walked in. He wasn't loud or anything and I wouldn't have noticed him. But he bumped into my desk.
"Oh. So sorry." The guy said.
I looked up into the brown eyes of a salmon-haired boy.
"It's fine," I mumbled, noticing he was reading the same book as me. That's why he bumped into my desk, he was reading. Makes sense. Being so engrossed in a book that one becomes unaware of their surroundings.
He smiled, nodded, and continued to read as he walked behind me and sat down.
Class started a little while later. I had already learned all of this last year, so I continued to read. I did listen so I could answer a question if called on, but otherwise... it was just me and my book.
Class ended and I rose from my seat only to be called over by the teacher. Mr. Goldmine.
"How the did you know the answer to every question without even paying attention, physic."
I laughed, a dry laugh. "I learned this last year, so I just paid attention to the question asked and I knew the answer. Can I not do that?"
"Oh, my. No, it's alright. Sadly this is the highest class history goes to or I would have you moved up." He sighed and signaled me to leave with a wave of his hand.
I bowed and left.
2nd period was just next store and it is...Ap calculus.
I entered the room, with only a minute to spare. I sat in relatively the same spot. Sadly, I hadn't taken this class before so I had to actually pay attention. The guy from earlier was there. With lots of girls surrounding him as he read. Giggling at him as if he said something even though he was completely ignoring them. Weird. The class blew by fast and was relatively easy.
Ah. Lunch. I have an odd appetite, though, so I wouldn't be eating anything but an apple. So I'd spend 45 minutes in the library. Studying. Reading. I walked to the library, finishing my apple. I walked over to a couch and got comfortable. I was so lost in my book, I hadn't even realized I was sitting so close to the mystery guy from earlier.
"GOD! Geez. Sorry." I shouted only to be shushed by the librarian.
He laughed, "it's alright, even?"
"Guess so," I mumbled and went back to my book. I could feel him staring at me. Still looking at my book, I said, "need something?"
"Oh sorry." he chuckled.
I got up and went outside. I had read enough of the book. I should practice some soccer. I found a beaten up soccer ball and began to kick it around. I kicked all the way to an empty part of the courtyard. I picked up two sticks and stuck them parallel to each other in the ground, about 4 yards apart. Goal.
I backed up to the end of the grass, I stood on the pavement that connected to the grass and began to run with the ball under my complete control. I shot it about 12 feet away. It went right through the sticks and hit a bench, it rolled back to me and I smiled. I continued to do that. Getting farther and shrinking the goal each time until lunch ended. I didn't even realize a certain pink-haired boy was watching and smiling along with me.
