I sighed, running my fingers through my hair. I thought he wouldn't forget, I mean seriously? It's your daughters 1st birthday. I wipe the icing off Isabella's mouth, hearing her soft giggles. I smile, God is she adorable.

I take the small cake that was iced "Happy Birthday" on it, and threw the leftovers away. Isabella sat in her high chair quietly, she's never been a crier or a talker. Isabella was a good girl. She never made loud noises or disobeyed, which was pretty amazing. My baby girl is learning to be a proper lady.

I opened her high chair and picked her up, placing her by my side. Her soft hand held onto my cheek, I look her in the eyes. Her beautiful, hazel, eyes. She's so perfect to me. I sit down on our couch, or my couch since Shawn doesn't spend time at home with us anymore. Poor Isabella, I don't want her growing up without a father.

I don't want the man I love, drift away from his own family. I wiped a tear away, as Isabella slightly frowned at my sudden mood change. I was smiling at my her, and than crying in a matter of seconds. She softly pecked the top of my nose, as I giggled at her cuteness. Her attempt at making me happy again certainly worked.

"You're one now baby! You're becoming a big girl now aren't you? Aren't you becoming a big girl?"

I said to Isabella in a babyish way, teasing my little angel.

She giggled as I gently tickled her stomach, my little munchkin. I hear the doorbell ring, obviously I figured who it would be. Gently, I placed Isabella on the couch while I wrapped her in a small blanket with a toy to keep her occupied. I walked to the door opening it to reveal a tired, stressed out, and forgetful, husband.

"I'm sorry, Edwina."
