The song on the side is the song I chose for this chapter. I posted a GIF image of Julianne Hough who plays Renee. I hope you like this chapter. First comment about what you thought of this chapter will get this chapter dedicated to them. If you make a cover or banner send it to me in a message and the chapter I post is on will be dedicated to you.

When we pull up outside to the community center where all the concerts take place I hear my name being called.

I look and see it is Jacki, “You told him about Owen?”

I look at her and laugh, “Well he said he was protective of you so I thought I would mention the boy you like.”

She blushes and looks away, “I…I d-don’t like him.”

“Sure keep telling yourself that darling.” I say before walking into the building.

“Renee!” I turn just in time to see my aunt running through the hall.

“Hey; why are you running?” I ask once she gets to me.

“Maxine is freaking out. Plus I heard you are singing. I mean you have not sung since…” She says looking away.

“I figured it was time. I will go find her.” I look over at the door and see Jacki smiling at me and her brother looking out of place.

“Jacki!?” I yell.

She drags her brother over towards me.

“Jacki this is my aunt. If you want you and Logan can sit with her.” I say looking between my aunt and Jacki.

“Yeah maybe your aunt can tell Logan some embarrassing stories about you to make up for you telling him about the boy I like.” Jacki says with an evil smirk.

“I thought you said you did not like him.” Logan and I say at the same time.

Jacki looks between Logan and I before grabbing my aunt and her brother’s hand, “Okay that was freaky.”

I laugh and go to the back and see Maxine fixing everyone’s outfits to make them look presentable. The girls wear purple dresses and the boys wear purple ties.

“Am I in the right place because no one here looks recognizable?” I say smiling at the kids.

“Like every other time. We are the same kids.” I look to see it was Owen who said it.

“About time you got here. You are going on after the kids. We are doing five songs so that should give you time to practice.” Maxine says.

I nod, “Okay. I am going to go out and find a seat to watch you all. On the last song I will come back here and get ready.”
