I was planning on taking my girlfriend out to dinner that night. Po loved watching the moon while she ate, just the way she loved to eat up a little bit of the toothpaste after she brushed. She loved long rides and puppies and star-ridden skies.
I was going to propose that night. And maybe we would have driven over to the beach and walked along the shore after that while she named our three kids mentally.
I won't get into the gory details yet, but let's just say that none of that happened.
