Meadows POV
I wake up the next morning and I'm laying on the couch as I hear Disney junior noises fill the room. I sniff the air, it smells like Hayes' cologne and I smile. I look around and hear giggling from the kitchen and then hear Hayes' voice. "Ready to go cutie?" I hear a loud "yesss!" Come from the same room as Macy walks out in her tutu and beautiful ballerina bun. "Goodmornig gorgeous." I say to Macy. She smiles and runs to give me a hug. "Hayes is taking me to dance class. Wanna come?" She asks me. Hayes slips his hands in his pockets and smiles at me. I shake my head and frown, giving her a kiss on the forehead. "I've gotta get ready for the date hayes and I have while you're gone." I peek up and see hayes face light up and his cheeks turn a light shade of pink. She nods and runs out the door. Hayes winks at me and leaves. I smile and get up, walking to my room. I feel great. Like I used to feel. Before everything changed. I grabbed some Adidas sweats and a purple hoodie. I put my hair up into a high pony tail and slip on my small, black rimmed glasses. I walk to the living room and turn off the TV before slipping on my galaxy converse and grabbing my keys. Hayes walks through the door and I smile. "Starbucks?" He nods and we walk out the door. We drive and sing along to the music in the car while laughing every so often. When we get there, we both order and take our seats as we wait. "So, how's sky? I miss her so much." Hayes smiles and nods. "She's great. She loves to learn and she's just the cutest thing. Skylynn always loves to be around animals and running in the farm." I smile and nod. "With her family, of course she would!" We both laugh and they call pur order number. We walk up and grab them before walking out the door and walking on the sidewalk down the street. "Have you been okay?" He asks me as I take a sip of my coffee. "I've been better. But I mean, I guess I'm not horrible." He nods and takes a drink of his cup as well. "And you?" I ask him. "Its been okay I guess. Its been hard, but I'm fine." He smiles and the cup meets his lips once more. "We should go see a movie." I say looking up at the special features plastered on the billboard. He nods and we walk in, tossing our cups in a near by trashcan. We go in and see insurgent. As we watch, he slides his hand over to mine and intertwines otr fingers slowly. He squeezes my hand gently and I smile to myself. We walk out when the movie is over and walk back to the car, laughing. Still not letting go of each others hands, we talk about the movie. "I'm so glad she died. She really deserved it." I nodded. "I'm pretty sure everyone in the theater was clapping when the bullet when through her head." He laughed and we got into the car, driving to Macy's dance class. She walked out smiling but with bags under her eyes. "Mrs.iris worked us hard and I'm really tired." She mumbled when hayes picked her up. She leaned her head on his shoulder and we decided to walk home. This reminded me of or old lives. I miss it so much. Macy fell asleep on hayes' shoulder as we walked in silence with our fingers intertwined. We got home and he laid her to bed as I changed into some PJs and sat on the couch, watching TV. I laughed at the person talking and looked up to see Hayes in his PJs and I smiled at him. "Hey." He said, sitting next to me. "Hi." I said back with a soft giggle. I turn off the TV and lay down. He faces me and I face him. Hes softly plays with my hair and I smile. He slowly leans in and I close my eyes. Our lips meet and sparks fly. I smile against his lips and feel butterflies flutter in my stomach. Our lips part and we don't say a word. We only close our eyes and drift off into a sweet, deep sleep.
