Chapter 2- Not Yokai but Monsters

"Spell card: Divine Arts Demon Binding Circle!" Her spell created a magic circle that surrounded the beast. But it actually wasn't there.

"Wait what?!" Reimu exclaimed. She felt a presence behind her and saw the lion beast about to strike. Until something intervened and it's upper body exploded into blood and guts. Reimu held the urge to gag and saw Saitama there with his fist in smoke.

Reimu blinked, "Weren't you just trapped in the ground a minute ago?" She asked.

"It wasn't that hard to get out really, man I got dirt in my belt." He said and nonchalantly started shaking it out. Reimu blinked again and went into thought.

'It seems as though my senses here are weaker than in Gensokyo. Or that transport had made me weaker somehow, either way I should've sensed that beast coming way before.' She thought.

"Now where is that mole?" Saitama asked snapping her out of her thoughts.

In the air, Marisa, Aya, and Alice had observed the fight below.

"Should we help them da ze?" Marisa asked.

"No, if it's Reimu and Sanae then they can handle themselves. Those two guys give me a strange vibe though." Alice said.

"This is gold!" Aya exclaimed and took pictures.
"What should the headline be? Hakurei shrine maiden in battle with her rival and two strange guys against powerful beasts? This is sure to get so many reads!" Aya said making Marisa sweatdrop. A loud screeching cut off Aya's banter and they saw a giant hornet coming towards them. They looked at each other silently, and they knew what it meant...an aerial battle.

Marisa started and summoned magic circles firing an array of shining stars. Alice followed with summoning her dolls and commanding them. The two attacks created a barraged that confused the creature.

Aya grinned and got her tengu's fan, "Spell card: Illusionary Dominance!" Aya rushed towards the beast at a great speed and started flying left and right repeatedly until the creature could take no more.

Youmu was with Remilia and Patchouli on the sidelines watching each and every fight. She would've intervened but everyone seemed to have it handled. That is until she sensed something, something underneath them.

"Anyone else feel that?" Youmu asked and they both nodded silently.

Patchouli stared at the concrete but then casted an earth spell. The ground cracked and jutted out revealing a very surprised mole. Youmu grabbed her katana, "Spell Card: Human sign Slash of Present!" She dashed and usheathed her katana in less than a second successfully slicing the mole creature in half.

Back to Genos and Sanae they faced the gorilla cyborg.

"You stand no chance against the second strongest of the House of Evolution." It taunted.

"Is this who you mean?" Saitama asked as he stood next to Genos with Reimu on his left. He held up an eyeball belonging to the beast which made Sanae squeak. All the other girls except Remilia and Patchouli gathered around.

"Ok I'll tell you everything, just please don't hurt me." The gorilla said and returned to its original voice.

"What the? What happened to your robot voice?" Saitama asked.

"Yeah I agree that old voice was kind of cooler da ze." Marisa said.

"Well it all started..." The gorilla began.

Remilia and Patchouli were sitting in a dark corner observing the group.

"Why didn't you join the fight?" Patchouli asked Remilia.

"I didn't have to waste my time with cretan like that. Plus...it has been happening." Remilia said. Patchouli stayed silent and Remilia showed her a burn spot on her arm.

"It was a matter of time until I couldn't conceal the damage from the sun anymore. I didn't think it would be so soon." She said.

"So are you staying then? All of them are going to chase down this House of Evolution from what I decipher. I'd rather stay here then waste my time." Patchouli said.

"It doesn't seem like a waste of time, rather, It might be best to follow everyone and learn of our surroundings. It's faint, but I can feel something ominous happening in Genoskyo. I wonder how Sakuya's handling this situation." Remilia said, she stared at the blue sky while Patchouli stared at her.

Back in Gensokyo, Yukari had been trying to pinpoint Reimu and the others, but to no avail. The barrier's weakening has been affecting not only Gensokyo but her magic as well.

"Yukari-sama, don't push yourself. It seems as though it's getting worse." Ran said.

"You're right." Yukari said.

A figure them phased a few feet behind her, "Yukari Yakumo," a deep female voice said.

"Sakuya Izayoi," Yukari said in acknowledgment. She turned to a woman in a maid outfit with silver hair and grey eyes.

"I was wondering, have you any knowledge of ojou-sama's disappearance?" Sakuya asked.

"I have some knowledge, but I don't know where Remilia, Reimu and the others have disappeared to." Yukari said.

"I've been sensing something lately, tell me...what is going on?" Sakuya asked with a calm glare. Yukari narrowed her eyes but decided to tell the truth.

"I shall tell you." She said.

A/N: Oh how hard it is to write fight scenes with 10 characters. I started this around the House of Evolution episode/arc because it's my favorite. Plus I'm making the Touhou characters a little weaker in this so they won't blow everything up with their spell cards. Images used aren't mine btw.
