Intro:
Levi had always been told his life was great and it was, from the outside. In reality, his life was all sorts of hell. The only good thing was his oldest sister and his dad who he barely saw. He lived with his workaholic mom, two older sisters, two younger sisters, and his asshole stepfather.
Chapter One:
Levi woke up hearing yelling. He groaned and thought, this early? Really?! He sighed and got up slipping on some sweatpants over his boxers that he slept in and just put on a hoodie too lazy to find a real shirt. He poked his head out of his room to see what was going on. When he saw nothing he came out of his room and slowly walked downstairs. He saw his oldest sister, Camden fighting with their stepfather, Max in the living room.
"No! Cassidy didn't do anything wrong! You can't keep her from going to hang out with her friends just because she told you no!" Camden yelled at Max.
Max glared before yelling back, "You aren't the adult here! If I tell Cassidy she is staying home then she is!"
Levi decided it wouldn't be good to interfere so he just watched.
"You can't punish her unfairly! You asked her if she wanted to take the dog for a walk and she said no!" Camden yelled back.
"Camden go to your room!" Max yelled and this seemed to fuel Camden more.
Levi knew Camden was right but wouldn't jump into the argument, he never has or will. Camden's fists clenched. She wouldn't hit Max but she sure wanted to. Levi knew that.
"You aren't my dad or any of our dad so stop acting like it. I was without a dad for fifteen years and two years ago when you came into my life thinking you could be my father! I don't need you in my life and you are not gonna treat me and my siblings like crap anymore!" She yelled.
Max was still angry but he just stormed out of the front door. Camden sighed and Levi decided he should come in now.
"Cam?" He asked softly looking down. He was fifteen but he hated fighting and arguing it bothered him.
She looked over at him quickly trying to put on a fake smile. "Hey, Levi. What do you need?"
Levi looked up at her. "What was the fight about?" He asked wringing his hands.
"Just Max being an ass to Cassidy about some bullshit," she said with a sigh as she ran a hand through her blonde hair.
Cassidy is his second oldest sister.
"Oh..." Levi said softly.
There was a crying from upstairs which had to be his youngest sister, Hayden. Camden sighed and started up the stairs two by two. Levi sighed as the crying slowly quieted. He walked into the kitchen and saw Madison sitting in the kitchen. Madison is nine. She is sitting eating a bowl of cereal. She used to be really loud and social but since Max came around she was really quiet and didn't talk much.
"Hey Mad," Levi said using a family nickname for her, trying to get a smile from her. She looked up a little but she didn't give much acknowledgement besides that. She looked back down at her food and kept eating. Levi sighed and got his own bowl of cereal deciding to eat some frosted flakes. He sat down next to his little sister and they both ate in silence. Cassidy came through the door a few minutes later with the dog. She is a pure husky with beautiful fur. Her name is Juliet. Cassidy took the dog off the leash and she ran off to the corner of the living room, where her dog bed was to lay down.
Cassidy walked into the living room. "Why's it so quiet in here?" She asked.
"There was a fight a little while ago," Levi said. Cassidy sighed quietly trying to keep it to herself. When Levi and Madison finished eating Levi took both their bowls and put them in the sink to be washed later. He headed upstairs to his room. He looked at the clock. It was 11:30 A.M. on a Sunday. Max probably went to his friends house, he tends to leave without telling anyone. Mom was at a photo shoot. Mom is a model so she isn't home very often. Camden was with Hayden in her room. Cassidy was downstairs in the kitchen probably getting something to eat because Cassidy loves to eat and Madison probably went to her room, she spends a lot of time there. Levi's phone went off and he looked at it. He hadn't taken it downstairs with him after he woke up so it had a lot of notifacations. He really didn't want to deal with his friends and their drama right now so he just put his phone on silent and went to take a shower. He grabbed some clean clothes from his dresser and grabbed his towel before walking down the hall to the bathroom to take a shower. He got undressed and showered. When he got out of the shower he dried off after he slipped on his boxers he looked at the full body mirror and then sighed ase his fingers traced the healing cuts on his thighs. He bit his lip and slipped on his clean pair of jeans before he put on his black long sleeve shirt. He put his clothes and towel in the dirty clothes hamper they had in the bathroom. He walked out of the bathroom and went to his room. He grabbed his laptop and turned on some Netflix as he looked at his texts.
