Chapter 30

Michael's pov

I sat in Ashton's living room with the twins while Maegan napped in the guest room.

"They're so cute," Rebecca whispered, sitting down next to me.

"Yeah," I whispered, smiling down at them.

Jessica and Daniel were both asleep. They both had little beenies on, covering their tiny little kitten ears.

Daniel was wrapped up in a little blue blanket and Jessica was in a pink blanket, both their tails carefully tucked in them.

"Where are the boys?" I asked, looking at Becca.

"They went to Babies-R-Us and to get the babies presents," she said, smiling down at the babies.

"You wanna hold one?"

She looked up and smiled at me while nodding her head.

"Here, take Daniel," I said, moving carefully so she could take him.

She smiled widely as she carefully took him and held him close to her.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked up at her while yawning.

"Hi," she whispered to him, "I'm your auntie Becca."

I smiled at them as she continued to say cute little things to him.

"Just think," I said, getting her attention, "in a short amount of time, you'll have your oun."

She smiled widely and looked back down at the baby.

"Yeah," she said, smiling fondly.

"There's my three babies," Maegan said as I walked into the guest room.

"Hi," I said, sitting next to her.

"Gimme my babies," she said, making grabby hands at the twins.

I laughed slightly and handed over the babies carefully one by one.

"How are you feeling?" I asked, scooting closer.

"I feel ok. It still hurts," she said, adjusting a bit.

"I'm sorry," I said, giving her a kiss.

"Its ok. It's not your fault," she said, kissing back.

"Kinda is," I said, laughing a bit.

"Ok, true."

I sat back and watched Maegan smiled down at the babies.

I grabbed her phone from the bedside table and took a picture.

The babies started squirming and whining.

"Oh no, what is it?" she said out loud while gently rocking them.

"I think they're hungry," I said, looking up from the photo.

"Yeah. Well, let's do this. Here, hold Jessie real quick," she said, gesturing for me to take her.

"How're you gonna feed both at once?" I asked, taking the baby.

"I have two boobs Michael," she said, looking at me like 'duh'.

I laughed slightly as she adjusted the baby.

"Holy fuck, that feels weird," she said as the baby started feeding.

"Why?? You already know what that feels like," I said, smirking at her.

"Shut up and hand me the other baby," she said, glaring at me.

I laughed and handed her Daniel.

"Ok, I've seen your boobs before but this just looks weird," I said, laughing a bit.

She laughed slightly.

"Can you pull the blanket up to cover me? Just incase one of the other guys comes in."

"Yeah," I said, pulling the blanket up so it was just covering her chest.

"Bye guys!! Thanks for the help," I said as we walked out to the car.

"Anytime," Ash and Cal said in unison.

I smiled and waved as we got into the car.

"Oh shit," Maegan said before she got in the car.

"What?"

"We only have one car seat," she said, looking at me worried.

"You hold them and I'll drive slow then later tonight I'll go get another seat."

Maegan looked hesitant but it was the only thing we could do right now.

"Ok," she said, carefully getting in.

I helped her buckle up and started driving home really slow.

I leaned against the door frame and smiled as I watched Maegan rock the babies to sleep.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take, my sunshine away."

She sang as she walked around the room and rocked Jessica in her arms.

She continued to sing lightly as she carefully placed her in the crib next to Daniel. She pulled the little blanket up over the babies and backed up, smiling down at them.

She turned on the baby monitor and grabbed the second one.

She smiled as she walked over to me and closed the door quietly.

Once the door was closed, I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her in for a kiss.

She smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around my neck. I kissed her deeply yet loving.

"God I love you," I said into the kiss.

"I love you too," she said, tightening her grip around me.

I smiled and picked her up and carried her to the living room. I sat her down on the couch and kissed her again.

I laid down on my back and she laid down on my chest.

I kissed her again and smiled at her.

"We haven't been able to do this in a while," I said, running my hands through her hair.

She laughed slightly before kissing me again.
