Chapter Eight - Tiara ♥

We stood in the hallway that led to the field waiting on them to start the music and announce the first couple. Isaias and I were the third ones to be announced, Kendall and Jace being the first. Mia and a player named Phil was fourth so she stood right behind us. I could tell she was pissed. Before we lined up she gave me the most dirty look and I swore she was stabbing me every time she blinked in her head. I didn't care though I was just focused on this introduction and the dance. Before every game I get the same nervous feeling in my stomach. I tired to shake my nerves but nothing was working. I took a deep breath in and let out out slowly.

Isaias grabbed my hand "Calm down your going to be alright I promise" I looked at him and nodded my headed as they began to announce the first couple.

Isaias and I waited patiently for our names to be announced and finally after two couples the announcer said "And welcoming next to the field our number one player Isaias and his biggest fan the beautiful Tiara!" The football players got to choose what the announcer said when it was their turn and I think Isaias' choice of words were good. He and I walked holding hands and I could hear everyone cheering and people chanting his name. He's a real life celebrity here at this school. I kissed his cheek before we split and they called out Mia and Phil. Their entrance wasn't about them it was about her. She made sure she walked ahead and did a princess wave. I really can't stand a female who seeks attention. You don't have to do that when you look as good as she does.

I have no problem with saying a girl I don't like is beautiful. If it's the truth it's the truth and she shouldn't feel like she needs attention because she could automatically get it, but hey if she likes it I guess I love it.

After the starting players and their cheerleaders were announced the game begun. Isa was right Central was good but I believed that we were better. The game was very close and I could see Isaias out there playing his ass off. By halftime we were down two points which we could come back from. It was our time to perform our routine to Formation. We all stood in our two lines of six with our heads down. The whole time I was getting myself ready to slay the hell out of this dance and as soon as the music started my head popped up and I was focused on nothing but the beat. The Formation remix had the crowd going wild which made me go even harder. I hit my final pose and searched the crowd for my parents and Nadarian. I found them in the front row jumping up and down screaming my name. A big smile spread across my face as I broke stance and left the field.

Kendall and I hugged each other "Girl that was dope!" She said out of breath

"I know the energy I felt while out there on the field felt good I wanna do it again" All the girls sat there trying to catch our breath. I dare the poms to show us out.

The game was very intense at this moment. We were now one point ahead of Central and we were playing our asses off to make sure we stayed ahead. Everyone was at the edge of their seat and when there was only a few seconds left on the clock and it was our ball I knew we had this game in the bag. We began to play and Brandon was passed the ball Phil and Jace made sure no player got even close to touching him. Isaias bobbed and weaved between the players and as soon as he crossed that line he dropped the ball and threw his hands up. All the players and cheerleaders ran to him and hugged him.

I pushed through the crowd of people and jumped into his arms "You did it!" I shouted. He then looked me in my eyes and crashed his lips into mine. In that moment everything around us was on mute and I hear nothing but the sound of my beating heart. Our lips moved perfectly in sync and I lost track of time so I can't tell you how long we were even kissing. Once I pulled away from the kiss I could now hear again and I realized that we were the center of attention. I put my head down as I tried to hide my blushing face. Kendall tapped me and pointed to Mia who was running off the field in tears.
