It was the third time Darcy held the Elite Magazine on her hand, browsing the same pages all over, just to take up all her interest and not pay attention to the wall clock and wait in hopes that Val might come home soon.

One more round, she sighed and opened the magazine when suddenly she heard some noise down the floor. She could hear her heart thumping as she went to check on it.

"Seriously, not again." She told herself as she took on her robe to cover her kamison dress and went down stairs.

The atmosphere shifted as she took the last step down the grand stairs. The tiny candles lighted up the whole ambiance and she glanced up from where she stopped. Val stood handsomely at the doorway of the grand room, one hand on his pocket and the other clutching a bouquet of white roses.

Those daring eyes, Darcy couldn't help but drool at those.

Their eyes locked as Val went closer to her, Darcy knew she could melt at this very moment.

"Rose? For me?" Her voice trembled, her temperature rose as his expression darkened.

"Only for you, my dear." His voice rough and sexy, Darcy could play it in her mind over and over again. "Come, darcy, follow me."

Mystified, she let him dragged her into the garden, where he snapped his fingers and the place turned into something magical and full of romantic lights.

A Candlelit dinner under the bright big moon.

"Val..." she could hear her voice crackling, "this is so, beautiful."

"Is it?" he asked, "I'm glad you liked it."

Oh God, I wish I could just pull you down and kiss you as hard as I can, she bit her lip trying not to let those words sabotage this perfect moment.

"By the way, I'm taking the weekend off. If you don't have other plans, I'd like to spend it with you. Maybe we could consider it as our delayed honeymoon."

Honeymoon? Weekend off? She blinked her eyes a couple of times just to make sure she wasn't just dreaming or hallucinating on this. But it wasn't a dream, this is real. "Who are you? And what have you done to my husband?"

His lips curled sheepishly and his cheeks turned red as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Let's say I've been dreaming of this the very first time I laid eyes on you as you walked down that isle, I can't help but thought about where will I going to take you for our honeymoon."

She couldn't help but mirror his smile as he continued, "I want you Darcy, I always wanted to do things differently with you. I don't want to screw things up just like my old relationships. For you, I will do everything, because you deserve it, you're a great wife."

A hard, painful lump thumped down her throat. She doesn't know whether that was a good thing or not, but he wanted to spend time with her and that's a close one to a perfect marriage.

She wanted to speak, but she was voiceless. I will not cry, I will not cry.

Val took her hand as he pulled her down the reception area. She was floating, her prince—no her king had finally made all her dreams come true.

It was a long, romantic dinner. They basically talked a lot, laughed more, and kissed. It was like the kind of dinner she had been dreaming of.
