Madison POV-
February 3rd

Yesterday was the start of the 2nd semester. sadly I missed it, actually I'm not sad at all I hate school...
I can't stop thinking about who will be in my classes I already know that I hate none of my friends in any of them.

The bus comes to a stop so I pull out my phone and stop my music.
I walk in to the cafeteria and begin to text my bestfriend Ally.

Me: Just got to school can't wait see you!! walk me to my 1st hour?? idk anyone )):

Almost instantly she replies and I smile to myself

Alison- hey!!(: so upset we don't have any classes together )): of corse I'll walk with you I'm almost there.

I smile instantly me and Ally have been friends since 5th grade and everyday I realize more and more that I don't deserve her. She is honestly the best this that has ever happened to me.

The bell rings and I get up to walk to my locker 248 and begin to put in my combination.
"I can't believe you think a panda is cuter than a dolphin."
I smiled and turn around to see my friend Mark shaking his head. I hit him lightly and reply.
"they're just so cute and cuddly looking. I would die to have one." I frown pandas are quite adorable but now that I think of it so are dolphins. I begin to fell bad for picking one over the other and thinking of how sad the both would look if they lost. My thoughts are interrupted by Mark shaking me and telling me that he had to get to class. He waves and turns to walk down the hall.

I take this as my chance to go find Ally but fail I quickly pull out my phone.

Me: Where are you??

I put it away before any teachers see it and walk to my first hour. Once I walk in I realize I know no one and everyone is in separate groups talking and laughing. I realized this will be how my entire day will be and sit down next to a girl who looks nice.
"Maddie that seats for Kayla" A girl grossly snaps at me.
I look up to see Kayla begin to walk in and apologize moving quickly to sit in the next open seat I smile at her.
Her name is Suzan we went to Elementary together. I say a quick hello before the bells rings queuing first hour to start.

Just as I expected I have no friends I. any of my classes. But it's okay because I normally chose to work alone anyway. Right now I'm putting my viola into my music locker, sadly I have to memorize 3 combinations very confusing...

The bell rings to dismiss us to fifth hour.
