Mitch plugged in his headphones wanting to drown out the sound of Jerome laughing with Louise his girlfriend. He was hoping when Jerome asked him to come over the two would just be hanging out, but of course not. Check Yes Juliet came on Mitch smiled softly at this, when he felt a soft tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Jerome smiling at him, he took one headphone out "I'm gonna go drop Louise off you wanna ride home too?" he shrugs "Sure" then puts his headphone back in and began walking out to Jeromes car. "What's his problem?" Louise asked bitterly Jerome looked over at his girlfriend "I don't know" he did think that his candian friend was acting a bit strange, but he chose not to ask about it. In the car Jerome kept glancing at the canadian in the mirror, but Mitch was to busy perfecting a plan in his head to notice this. The song had given Mitch an idea on how to win Jerome over. He didn't even say goodbye properly he was so excited. Jerome was getting ready for bed when he heard a soft noise coming from outside, Mitch rubbed his hands together for warmth before he began chucking small rocks at Jeromes window. Jerome was now generally curious he walked over to the window that the sound was was emitting from he opened it to be hit in the eye "Mother-" "Fuck sorry Jerome" Mitch said realising what had happened. Jerome rubbed his eyes looking out at his front yard "Mitch?!" Jerome asked "Hey" he waved slightly feeling embarrassed. Mitch reached over for his portable stereo pressing play and raising it above his head Check Yes Juliet started playing, Jerome looked at Mitch weirdly "What're you doing?" he asked laughing "Proving something I guess" Jerome shook his head smilling, he then decided to play along with whatever Mitch was doing. He leaned over his window "What is it that though Benja wants to prove?" he says in an old timey voice. Mitch takes a deep breathe before speaking "I wanted to prove.....I was better than Louise" Jerome looked at Mitch again "What does he mean?" Jerome thought "What?" Mitch sighs "Jerome I've loved you longer than Louise has, and I.....I guess this was my best choice to admit it" at this point some neighbors had heard the noise and were coming out to see what was going on Mitch blushed slightly at the new audience, but was determined to show Jerome what he meant. "Mitch why this way, why not come talk to me like a civilised person and not someone from a movie" Jerome said jokingly "Cause I wanted to be original" He turned the volume up higher on the speaker then began singing along to it

"Jerome I'm being dead serious when I say I love you more than a friend" Mitch looked up at the American on the window only for the window to be shut on him. His hands dropped slightly he could feel the tears coming, and the neighbors whispers weren't helping the situation. The song ended he let his hands drop down with the speaker "Aww I liked that song" Jerome said taking Mitch by surprise. Jerome walked barefoot with some shorts and a hoodie on over to Mitch, who looked at him in shock "What? If you weren't coming up I was coming down" Mitch wiped his eyes "Does this mean you feel the same?" Jerome bit his lip "It means let me break up with Louise first, cause I'm a bacca not a cheater" Mitch put the speaker down then threw his arms over Jeromes neck. Applause could be heard, but the onlu thing Mitch cared about were hearing Jerome say "I love you Biggums"
